you are not dumb, you are bit lazy.... You didnt go though the thread completely.... Go through post number 530... first do some back test/ paper trade and then go live... There are lots of masters like karthik, RR, Anant and others... You can ask them your doubts...home work is must, all the best

Wait for the candle to touch the Avg Price plotted and if the 15min candle closes above/below place your buy/sell above/below the high/low of the candle.

touching the ATP is a thumb rule? what if it goes below without touching ATP?
short triggered?

No idea.. I haven't traded on future... Ask RR, Anant, karthik, vijay... Any one of these can definately help you
