Hi Aksri,

Go to post number 530, i have explained the method in simple terms..
Would request you to revist Karthik's original strategy ! My feeling is that there is difference in what you have written and what Karthik had suggested.

WOuld also request Karthik to kindly confirm or rectify the error....

Hi PT,
Yes you can...one simple method...take the avg price of highly traded scrip from NSE website under Equity. Plot the Avg Price in chart and set the time frame to 15min (intraday trading). Wait for the candle to touch the Avg Price plotted and if the 15min candle closes above/below place your buy/sell above/below the high/low of the candle.

The stop loss would be High/Low of the touching candle.

Exit keep as a fixed % or amount. But trust me u can earn Rs.1000/- every day. But to be traded only on the Highly traded scrips.

Cheers!
Karthik

Sir, As I wasnt much into this thread, seems had overlooked the earlier post. Thanks.
What other Stocks are actively traded per this strategy.
Karnaniji,
By & large,all liquid stocks obey .
I am of the opinion, this is my Most favorite strategy for intraday.
Rarely ( in my case Never ),it gives loss.
Ofcourse,profit will be small only. i trade min 2 & max 3
But tgt is rs1000/day.:) over all. No tension. S/l small & well defined.
Try Adanient,Relcap,Relinfra,Sail,tatastl,tatamotors,SBI,LT,LIChsgfin,ranbaxy,Bhel,Icicibk,Canbk,BOI,Axis,Reliance,Vipind

Sir, Thanks for your views and list of stocks.
My perception as per what I have understood from Karthiks original Post on the Rules suggested by him and the Rules posted by Anup there seems to be some difference.
This is what I have understood :
Karthik : When a 15 min. bar touches ATP of previous day and closes above: Go long above the high, with Low of the bar as SL. And if closes below go short below the Low and high as SL.

Anup : When a 15 bar touches and closes above ATP of previous day, wait for a bar to breach the high of this bar and then go long above the high of the second bar.

I understood that Karthik suggested to Go long above below the high low of the bar closing above below ATP and Anup says to wait for one more bar before going long.

So its either me who have misunderstood or its Anup who might have erred.
Please give your input to clarify !

Thanks.

@RK sir: whatever you have understood from karthiks statement is correct
Anup, question is how to confirm this... I did not go through entire thread and there might have been some more rules to make it what you write as correct!!

So how to blow away this cloud of doubt ? Only Karthik can do it!

Because people like akshri might also have been confused as I am.

Would request Karthik and also Rangarajan sir to comment on this and clarify.

Adani levels : Cash or Future?
But my take : this trade was not strictly as per Karthik strategy!! Its not yet 10, so the bar has not yet closed.
Do take time to clarify, it may help a few here.

Request to all who PMed me asking clarification on this strategy : Please post here so that people who understand this strategy better than me can respond.
