The company had filed an abbreviated new drug application, which is for generic drugs only.

The company has got the approval through its US-based subsidiary Glenmark Generics and will launch the product in the US market immediately, Glenmark said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

"Today's approval (complements) Glenmark's recent launch of Alcometasone Dipropionate cream and allows the company to provide superior service to their customers by offering complete line of Alclometasone topical products," the filing said.

Alcometasone Dipropionate is a generic version of GSK's Aclovate and the company will manufacture it at its US FDA approved manufacturing facility in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.

Closed below short term moving average - shows bearish signal - so HOLD & tak sl @ 223 - 246 appears to be gud resistance(upper trend line).

Good to accumulate near 200 levels

Inv. H&S posbl tgt 260


Based on reports & speculations:

A perfect speculative stock.

Cairn - the company begins to produce first oil from its Rajasthan oil fields.

Though Cairn has projected production to the tune of 1,75,000 barrels per
day, analysts expect output to rise to more than 200,000 bpd by FY13.

Further surprises on the upside may be possible from the Raageshwari fields that are presently undergoing exploration.

Risks:

Demand for oil fell slightly in 2008 from 2007 levels. The current financial year too is not showing any signs of improvement. This has already had an impact in Cairn’s Q409 results.

Conclusion: A good pick @ 200 levels for Medium term
