I agree with Nimish... The Selling has been much more than the buying by the DII's.....

For the past few days the overall selling has overrode the overall buying....

As I say this the US market is i tatters again and setting up the Indian markets for a bloody weekend .....

Thanks

I just dont understand the concept of this shitty Jobs data.... It comes up every week and the sentiment changes... How ridiculous?

The investors who were positive yesterday are selling today for no god damn reason....

Good luck to all

Mate even they won't have a slightest clue as to how they come up to that number that changes every week. The problem with the job data was that it had lot of back logs due to Xmas and now it suddenly rose although it was the backlog of december as in early Jan and late dec the offices were closed for almost 7-8 days. I think its a good time to forget the bull run for a while. The correction looks steeper than anyone of us anticipated and today was extraordinary day considering how many times market went up and down and massively. If you count the total breadth taking into account rise and fall each time you will see that market could had an absolute movement of almost 3-4%

BTW US is falling because of the uncertainty of the Bernake coming back to power. If that happens expect a rally for next few days. I mean that is what the excuse is in the market. Tomorrow can be the last of the sorry days before markets wallop upwards at full speed. As most of the bad sentiments from India as well US would be filtered out hopefully enough carnage has been done by politicians. I expect a positive development from our CRR or IR policy I would expect they wont be changed much or maybe tampered slightly as Banks today had a great run.

The main thing is that so much selling is going on that who is buying at such great levels....if the overall market is going to the below levels then from where the all buying is coming. Investors with such a large money in hand to accumulate this much selling are not fools that they cant see the market sentiment down or up. We can see 10 lacs of nifty just purchased in 5 minutes of time on intraday time frame. In Volume spread analysis, the main theme is that on good news you should sell and and on bad news you should buy, and that is what is going on. It is just the way of professionals to shake out the weak holder out of panic and fear. when they have accumulated all the easy shares and no more are left, the bulls will start to mark up the price and we will see the rally upside. the charts are also showing that the oversold region has come and now any time we can see a recovery or bullishness....lets c what happens in future...i am bullish currently on nifty....

Professionals provide bad news to us so that the weak holders sell their shares out of panic and they accumulate it. once the shares flow in market has finished, the demand will automatically increase with increase in prices....

Dude!!!

I totally agree with u on the text book note.... But u see one thing during this phase it is the FII's who is selling..... and the DII's are buying ....

The good thing with DII's is that they can hold their stocks forever because of the huge money they have.... We don't.... I am a BULL by heart adn just don't blindly assume that the market is Bullish .. there is enuf weakness in the market and believe me, whatever the textbooks say ppl like u and me wont be able to stand it once it unleashes on the downside.... So i would say keep the SL's in place Get the hell out of it.............

I agree in the Ben issue that if he is re-instated the markets could get a kick start.... but that is no guarantee!!!!

ANyways happy trading!!!!

i am bullish...i am setting my sail according to the market..but looking farword to get it recovered...my all indicators are also telling me that pull back is there and bullishness will come....

but current scenerio can go any where as budget is awaited and RBI meet tomorrow...so i will set my sail tomorow acording to that....whatever books tell us is totally applicable...al it need is little patience to wait for right entry exit and stoploss...

I agree with ya on most of the things... just a caution lol.......

whatever we had Yesterday could have been a relief rally... So we shud close above 4920-4940 to be bullish again ... On the lower end 4800 is the good support area..... Hope it holds up today...:)

Thanks
