@RKSV,
1. Is Desktop client is in development?
2. Or you have any plan for it?

A) By when we can expect upstox to reach the level of Zerodha Kite? As of now even the candles are not moving.

Pls give some realistic timeframe.

Thanks and Regards
They dropped the idea of desktop client long ago & announced only web client development.

Now every few weeks they are giving the web client in bits & pieces. I myself got disappointed with the charts not active in Upstox. After logging in it seems we are seeing some historical chart . :mad:

@Leonid I don't think they have abandoned the Desktop client, as far as I could able to understand that they have some plans for a desktop client later in life.

But let them explain this scenerio.

I think the product is still in beta...they released it under pressure since it took too long for them to keep promises. Its like we are testing and they are fixing :lol:

Hey id4trade,

Desktop, in the works once Web reaches a stable build.

Charts are being pushed to the limit. We will release studies next (hopefully in a few days), followed by live charts in the following release.

Better have 1 good tool rather than 2 mediocre ones.
@Tracerbullet don't you think they should have gone for a desktop client FIRST.

A C# based client with so many clean and clear defined libraries could have been much easier to achieve then this HTML5 and web technology mess, which is still nowhere.

Or may be just may be the licensing of M4 module could have been way much costlier then this web counter part.
