I Hope this is a temporary solution, because I dont see candles moving REAL TIME.
Forming a new candle every 1 MINUTE is called DELAYED chart update.
If not the NEST level, But least I am expecting Zerodha Kite level candle updates (as that thing is is virtually clone of upstox). Else I am out of this party.

Yeah, we can do that. Right now it just updates it every 30 seconds or so. Here are few more things we want to do:
1) Live LTP line - So LTP is plotted on the chart and candle is built every 1 minute
2) Live candle - Update the candle right when it's ready at the end of the minute (similar to NEST)
3) Realtime candle - Build the current candle realtime at every tick
#3 is a new feature we haven't seen other platforms do. Looking to get this right and roll out soon.

No. It is not updating every 30 seconds or so, it is updating after 50-70 seconds.
Also Candle main body color and head/ tail color should be different for standard candle.
Or simply give a choice for candle colors.
1. Doesnt add any value, at least for me.
2. I dont know why you said that is similar to NEST, It is NOT.
#3. This is what NEST does, and every other modern platform do. And that is what we all want and should be there.

1) I dont know why you are saying that 3 min and 15 min time frame is custom interval, it is NOT.
4 min and 16 min is custom interval.
Every other broker has got this timeframe in their platform, upstox's brother from another mother Kite also has 3 min and 15 min interval.
2) Again this is available with all the brokers including zerodhas Kite.
If some traders find a usability issue in this,.then fine give it to us as an option to turn this feature on/off.
When are we getting the 3,4,5,6 & 7?
*Here important to mention that I am giving Zerodha Kite's example not because it is perfect. But because it is derived from same software module as the upstox.
And the feature kite has can be easly deployed on upstox. Once we reach at Kite's level then we take on from there to take upstox to the next level.

1) Sure, 3 and 15 min have been added. The charts will accumulate data over time but we have began collecting it right away.
2) We have separated index and stocks doing many user studies. We've also done the same on our Android and iOS app. It's not a technical thing. Quite easy to integrate but doesn't make sense from a user experience perspective. You have a valid point of making it customizable. Will take a look at that along with other customizations we have coming up.
4) In the works. We are launching MCX first late next month.
5, 6, 7 - those are not difficult to do. Should be in a few weeks.
