Zerodha - Number One Discount Broker in India

hi zerodha, cover order facility provided in NSE NOW also ? if yes CO margins in both ZT & NOW same ?
Zerodha i also wanted to ask the same question.
Also pls tell if MIS and NRML margins are same for Ztrader and now ??

I know in NOW we cannot convert the T+1 position of futures to MIS to release funds for intraday trading as we can do in Nest but have u done
something special in RMS or from ur end to release funds for intraday for people using NOW?

I hope u got my point what i want to ask.
Can anybody have the same facilities of Ztrader but is using NOW for nse regarding margins and positions conversions?;)

Regards

Margins on NOW will be slightly higher than ZT, btw guys the servers of NOW which used to be sitting in NSE, which was the reason for higher speed( since the NOW servers were on LAN with NSE servers) doesn't stay good anymore.

The NOW servers have been moved to a data center near NSE, similar to how our trading servers are. The speed advantage of NOW is not there anymore.

We at Zerodha will probably be among 4 or 5 other brokers in India who will will have a 100% disaster management backup servers, in a completely different location in another 15 days.

Most brokers host their trading servers out of 1 data center or in house. What happens, if there is an earthquake, flood, power failure or a terrorist attack? All huge risks of a data center, even though they guarantee an uptime of 99.4%.

The surprising thing is that even the NOW servers don't have a disaster management site.

One of the things that we are doing today, which may not be visible to you directly is putting up a disaster management site which is in a separate data center far apart from each other.

It is like buying an insurance policy and covering this risk was on top of our priority list. Hopefully no such incident happens, but if it does, we will be ready for it.
