why kite showing comma instead of decimal place in charts.
Is that a bug ??

Long back , a small correction was pointed out ,but till date it is not rectified.
In total BUY quantity COMMA is used whereas in total SELL quantity it was not.

Thank You @Zerodha for chipping into the discussion and for the info.

@Tracerbullet now this post in not offtopic anymore, as Zerodha endorsed the value of query and provided a informative link :D

@Zerodha what if I want to develop some plugin/indicator for pi or say I want to add a GUI element like a Zoom button on pi chart, Then what is the prerequisite knowledge required to achieve this sort of modification.

I have read on modulus website for M4 module on which pi is based on, they say

"M4 is a white-label trading application which comes with programming libraries and C# examples for modifying the appearance and functionality."

But here you are advocating python. Bit confusing for new coder:confused:
If you are learning to program, why bother about building a GUI like zoom button and all?

If it is to build trading strategies, backtest them, and all there are so many open source python libraries.

Zerodha,

We need Bracket Order for MCX.
People Running Indian Trading League has already got that for mcx 1 year ago.

Why don't you get it approved for Zerodha Pi or Kite? What makes MCXIndia to approve it for ITL and not for Zerodha???
They are providing only on call n trade, which means only dealers can place those orders and not the clients directly.

@Zerodha
You took that line literally, that example was for the argument sake.

But then my points remains. If later in life, I want to develop an indicator or plugin for pi then definitely that kind of expertise will be required.
Hence the query.

I agree, if the aim is to Build and Backtest ONLY trading strategies then definitely python looks promising.

Pi pending - Super Trend, HA Chart, Point and Figure chart
One more thing in both Pi and Kite charts - a line at the current market price( optional/configurable )
