The trade that got executed by you is the only 1 trade on that contract today. After doing all kinds of checks, including the trades we placed when on the call with you, there are only 2 possibilities of this happening. Either you had put up a wrong contract on the marketwatch and executed the trade unknowingly or when you are trying to place an order by mistake either while using tab button or otherwise choose a different expiry on the F1/F2 window...

That is the only way this could have happened..

As I said I'm not against anyone.The error about the expiry is quoted in the second post after Delaroche's post; check the time, before the trade execution happened. Why you are not talking about the error popups came while doing the test ride? You were not able to do the test transactions with the software not filling the buy/sell screen any values in the pull-downs. You were forced to log out and log in right? As discussed, what if a small time trader who wish to earn 5000/month loses 3500, the same way I lost. Please make sure that this doesn't happen to anyone else. Please do a parallel run of your software at Zerodha end after getting release from Omnesys to keep gaurd of your reputation, if anything balance exists.

That is exactly what I am trying to say, we are getting this process done by 6.30 to 7, expiry days are an exception. There are a bunch of our clients who trade and are on traderji and I am sure everyone will vouch for that.

Backoffice process is done at same time for everyone,

When you call today, can you ask for either Venu or Hanan, I will keep them posted on this... Can figure out why you are seeing the day reports so late in the night, when ideally it should not be so..
Ok, i spoke to some clown named Rohan Romy, at first he was very non responsive, and when i called him 'retarded' (reason is retarded in itself), he told me not to call him names. 'Retarded' means dumb, its not a name. If you are dumb, people will let you know.

Anyway, the guy turned out to be helpful, in that the main page of backoffice does not have the updated balance but the 'ledger details' do, which is strange, but oh well, he told me you can check your trades too, i will try (am on the fone).

Keep something in mind, its very easy to program the backoffice, listing of trades and running balance into ZT itself, all you guys are doing at the end of the day is adding the costs (comm,stt etc) and presenting the balance, whats important is the listing of trades, which can easily be listed on ZYT with a time stamp.

Ty for bearing with me Sachin, Q finally solved. When you told me about backoffice, if you had mentioned ledger details, it would have been solved right then btw, the fact that there are two balances on two different pages in the dame software is a little over the top, dont u think?

Even from "Group Settings" if select type as "NORMAL" you will get, only one expiry 31Mar2014 for Nickel (actual : 31Dec2013,31Jan2014,28Feb2014), one for Copper 30Jun2014 (actual : 28Feb2014,30Apr2014). For all to appear you have to select type as "ormal". My chart data is also wrong, entire 29th is missing for Nickel Dec daily chart, giving me a chart with nice GAPUP. Already send screenshots and data table to Zerodha (12:10pm), waiting for the answer. Seems new update screwed up everything from data to execution. Advising Zerodha tech team to parallel run the updates before go live.

Zerodha, we need only reliable data source with a proper charting. Forget about everything else. Let's have a solid base to stand and build upon.
Guys take care of new update. I shorted NickelM 31Dec2013 one lot @843.20, system executed 31Mar2014 @855. By seeing the wrong price, investigated, found this erroneous execution by NEST (ver 100.11). Immediately I reverted back to the previous version of NEST trader thinking that it because of new update issues, found this erroneous transaction is true. Immediately closed the position, which system covered @891, resulted in loss of 3600. Now I'm in talk with with Mr.Rohit, which he is still not able to answer. Please take care guys.
Very bad Zerodha. Seems it's time to quit.
After talking to Mr.Rohit, Mr.Nagaraj, Mr.Hari (Dealing desk manager - +91 80 4040 2020) for 2 hours, I decided to quit Zerodha (account closure requested) as with many service providers - client suffers and decided to continue with my old full-service broker who has given me consistent data integrity and service. The only catch for me with Zerodha was the per lot brokerage and floating chart window.

Disgraceful software glitch...very bad :argue:
Amsin, you are making it seem like you've been swindled, whereas the only thing which has happened is an oversight from your end. We have tens of thousands of clients and a lot of them trade the Nickel Mini contracts on a daily basis. There were only 2 NickelM contracts traded today for March 2014 expiry on the whole of MCX, and it's no surprise that both the trades were executed by you. Check out the snap quote screen shot for NickelM2014.


Once again, I'd like to inform you that this was an oversight from your end and it's impossible for the system to execute an order for a March contract when you have selected December. It could've been that you accidentally pressed the down arrow and selected the March expiry instead of December.

What made you think that I am cheated by you or someone else? I never said that or tried to convey that feeling. Yes you are right, system will show the trades executed. But we or myself is talking about the error in the system update which was highlighted in the reply to

got it. ty. unable to add scrips to market watch directly from the main window as before. have to go the market--group settings way.
which happened before the order execution.

The latest version of ZT works on all Windows versions, at least from Windows XP until the latest Windows 8.1.

If you're having any issues installing/running ZT on any of the Windows versions, just give us a call and we'll be happy to help. My presumption is that you do not have administrative privileges on that particular system.
Are you sure that latest version of ZT works on Windows Vista ? Please double check for me, or ask other clients . Mr. Linekar & I tried to run the previous update for more than 2 hrs some months back & at last came to the conclusion that updated version of ZT doesn't work on Windows Vista . I am using previous version of ZT on Vista. Thats why I am unable to trade on MCX-SX also . It gets installed but doesn't run. Even though it is my own PC , I will double check your presumption. Thanks for your support. Anyone using latest version of ZT on Vista ?

Mr. Linekar & I tried to run the previous update for more than 2 hrs some months back & at last came to the conclusion that updated version of ZT doesn't work on Windows Vista . I am using previous version of ZT on Vista. Thats why I am unable to trade on MCX-SX also . It gets installed but doesn't run. Even though it is my own PC , I will double check your presumption. Please enable DEP only for system files only. Should solve your problem.
