Thanks. Truth is I did face the exactly similar issue before also..in Feb...but I ignored it as one off case and moved on. But this time I was not willing to... I am sure this happened with many people like you and me.
So I'm not alone in the boat ... Please accept the glitches Zerodha ... very dangerous unreliable data / platform. What use if NEST is with Thomson Reuters? money is ours.

:) Its high time you learnt how to sync the order book after re logging in again

Select Preferences.
Select User settings
Select genaral
Select reconcile on right lower bottom of box.
Select yes.
Now, go to order book, click on display.... you will get all your orders.
I reconcile even at the slightest hint of mis-connection. nevertheless, my order book population issue is solved, thanks to new version of ZT. as said earlier, I don't really pay attention to the order book. I manually make an entry of the number of trades I execute every day. I have been with ZT right when they introduced it and faced a lot of small issues and solved them with the help of Z-people. so reconciliation is not something I wouldn't know about.

Cheers.

But I do still trust zerodha with my money because I have been comfortable with them for last 2 years(except one time when their system stuck and didn't take my order, resulting in a loss of 80000 rupees. yes its 80000 rupees in options... repeated calls, staying on hold for 20 mins straight even didn't help. the loss was done and

.
Buddy u r really great ,
Either u have a very big heart or u have very big money;)
Even after 80,000 loss due to mistake of the broker u sticked to it and still having problems and then also u r sticking to it.
Hats off to u.

look I understand what you meant. But it is not the amount that mattered there. That was the first time I faced the issue with them. and any broker will give me such an issue once in an year. That is what to be understood there. It doesn't matter if I had 80000 rupees or 8 lakh rupees or 80 rupees simply at that instant. That was an market event day and market moved against my position drastically pulling my position from a couple of thousands profit to 80000 loss. That number is always painful though .. :) ..

Apart from that, right from I opened my zerodha account, I have been dealing with a single person in zerodha(don't want to give name though) and he has been very courteous to my problems or any issues I faced right from the moment I started in 2011 December. But now I am just their any other customer and if I call their customer care number, I am just another random client with a BS problem(from their point of view)

Such an off day could happen with any broker I bet. Apart from that single issue, I was a satisfied Zerodha customer. Its just that in the recent past 2 months I am having bitter experiences and reconsidering whether to move or not.

Just spoke to Mr. Bharath from Zerodha for around 40 minutes. He explained me how these COs got executed actually. All is well that ends well :)

Sorry if I hurt Z in rage, but that was not my aim. You also admit the patience and responsible behavior I have shown....all because I have respect for Z. I have batted for Z even in the thread of other brokers. Anyway, I am removing that line. Wish you are as quick about offering solution or explanation as quick you are about taking offence.

As for attachments, they are same I emailed you. You know this well. You had contacted me... I emailed you back with some pointed queries which remained unanswered...and I never get your penchant for dealing issues over phone when someone had spent time writing you an email.

Btw, you yourself admitted in one of your post here that this is "not a uniform case" !!!
Hey Punter,

Let me speak to Vijay on this and get back to you, I am not able to see your attachments.

But I don't understand what you mean by, "Let us take them to the cleaners"? , why be rude about this?

Give me sometime will check and get back..

Dear Zerodha,

I am a small time trader. Learning trading only because Zerodha is there. the thread of Zerodha at Traderji is there.
Also Zerodha has taken care of all BIG and small time traders like me with patience and kindness and humility. They have heard and answered almost all the queries big and small with patience (- irrespective of the trading account).

And Zerodha has Grown BIG Fast Why ? I think not only because of low brokerage but also because of their humility. and their eagerness to teach each and every trader so that Z and their customer make profit and Both Happy.

Zerodha 60 day challenge was a big success. Why i say this ONLY because, they are frank enough to give the overall result - only 5 to 10 percentage make profit in trading. and this made me open my eyes wide open and see how much LOSS i made!!!

As a well wisher of Zerodha and also because I want Zerodha to be there for small time traders like me do trading, I WANT ZERODHA TO BE THERE FOR EVER. GIVING QUALITY SERVICE. GIVING ITS CUSTOMER (and their EMPLOYEES) 100% SATISFACTION , DELIGHT. AND PEACE OF MIND.

Recent post from their Customers surely show that the standard has come down a bit. and if the Technical glitch in software or anything else as shown in recent posts are true, it is really a matter of Great Concern.

To solve this, I REQUEST Zerodha to Slowdown ("Speed kills" - as Columbus has quoted in a recent post). Sit back. and do a full audit of your System and Software. make sure that all the employees in your organization are also happy like your customers.

And never ever loose Humility however BIG you become. becuase errors can be there. we have to accept and rectify and make the system rock solid.

I expect Zerodha to be as open and frank as ever and come out clean and rock solid.

I hope this can do miracle to everybody associated with and to ZERODHA.

With Respect and Regards,
Brill.

Good to hear this.

So the net result after so many posts alleging mis conduct on part of Zerodha are now resolved, all in Zerodha's favor.

Kudos to them for spending hours explaning how orders are executed. Some other broker would have emailed an account closing form instead, and send the mails sent to him with the complaints to the trash box.
