Zerodha - Number One Discount Broker in India

I have still not received any response from them about the discrepancies in the 60 day challenge. I did further checking and found that only the figures for EQ brokerage are ok, rest all figures do not tally with my calculations taken from the contract notes, even the figures for profits.

My calculations show the following :

Zerodha's figures show the following :

Also, even their own figures don't tally with each other. Check the figure for "profit". It should show 4152.02 as per their own details, but it doesn't.

So, it seems that all is not well in their accounts.

Also, I request you to keep a strict eye on all the various figures supplied by them, because they have become too error-prone.

Hope these zerodha guys did not get 4th standard fail students to get their accounting done to save on costs.. initially they used to call themselves a technology company, but later they stuck to discount brokerage tag line. ..LOL...

If in case they were really using technology, then these calculations would be automatic. But it seems to work in such a way that all mistakes favour them :):):) ... thats what makes me suspicious.

SEBI recently released a circular on prevention of unauthorized trades by brokers that overrides previous circulars.

Link: https://www.sebi.gov.in/legal/maste...thorised-trading-by-stock-brokers-_38365.html

When I first read through its contents and tallied it with the experiences I've had with discount brokers, my first (instinctive) thought was about Zerodha.

I'm not implying anything, just revealing my "mann ki baat" :)

Update :

The figures for F&O have been rectified today. There is a discrepancy in the profit for EQ, but the figure for EQ brokerage is correct.

Let's hope everything updates ok from Monday onwards.

Guys, posting here is an extra to interacting with the broker. We share the experience here so that the others can take appropriate action if the situation happens with them.

At least with Zerodha, the problems get solved when you write to them and follow them up.

Now, I have just 1 more issue with them - Bill for call-n-trade charges. It's not urgent as yet, but we are going to need it for our accounts. We pay the call-n-trade charges, then we also pay GST on it. Legally we are entitled to a bill for the same, not just a ledger entry, that too in their ledger.

Nest Plus plugin not working in new Zerodha Trader Nest 3.14.4

I wrote to support.zerodha.com wherein I was asked to rollback to Nest 3.11, which I do not want to do as the previous versions had many other issues including latency.

And for but obvious "TECHNICAL REASONS" I do not want put my orders through Pi or Kite.

To add to the dilemma, they also unlisted my post at tradingqna (Link).

Honestly, Zerodha has now truly lost its simple sense of responsibility.

Seen at a friend's place, Upstox is providing Nest 3.15.1 and Nest Plus plugin is working seamlessly there.

Zerodha - Are you in the game?

Any solution would immensely help. Thank you!
