After deleting some registry entries, ZT did not crash today. (why we need to do this for minor updates? )
But still login is not always reliable. Today 1st time it got stuck at 10% then 40%. Third time lucky and ran fine afterwards (dont trade yet only chart)

Maybe i should wake up earlier

I am just using a 2g connection through USB Plug in Modem but ZT (new version) is running fine. Even everytime logout is also smooth (earlier it was hanging while logging out). I think some issue with your installation. The zerodha tech team had asked me to delete some files of earlier installation, after that it is working fine. So consult their tech team.

If this is the case , then Zerodha should make it clear on how to do ZT installations and updates with proper instructions.

Reg deletes cannot be in update process.

Dont know if my fix applies to all. It could be a minor bug triggered by some setting i changed which messed up the update.
Or it may have done nothing at all and i just didnt get the crash today.

Even then, When i was upgrading to 100.11. I was first told to update NEST PLUS 1.20(i think), which is a separate manual update , after which you have to update ZT.

Now am i the only who had to follow these instructions?

Manish, are you using BSNL? There is some issue for people who are using BSNL...

No I'm not. I use Beam Broadband. I can tell you that internet is not the issue. Your call center person has tested that many times.

Do it only if you need to. I faced some crashes before and it may have helped

Hi i am using ZT with out any issue till last update. I still feel the last version of ZT is more stable. i am revert back to old version and very happy with that... Also stable internet is required is must for ZT. 90% problem is internet related. Make sure your internet is stable.
I am using Airtel 2MBPS broadband only for ZT.

Ha ha ha i'm using 512 kbps Connection of Spectra Net (Local Service provider) i never face any kinda problems. (The only problem is i lost alot of money in trading)
