We Indians are not lazy. :annoyed: :D Lets extend it to 5:30 PM. I love trading. :p
If nse extend end time till 5:30, only then I can consider your starting time 10 AM. ;)
You can create a separate thread to know traderji members view. It will be interesting. As far as my personal opinion best timing 10:30AM - 5:30 PM. :clapping:

Happy Trading.
agree.

i suggest something in the lines of MCX timings 10:00 to 11.30 pm :)
people coming back from work too can participate !!!

And what about the people who cant sleep due to insomnia?
They should also get a chance to trade from 11:30 pm to 6 am.

And early risers, who need to go to office, they need 3 hours to trade at least, so, 6 am to 9 am is a basic minimum for them.

And yes, 15 minutes off time between 9 am to 9:15 am is enough for Indian markets.

sure. why not . when the FX market is 24x5, when we have US futures trade post market and when MCX in India can extend upto 11 hours...why not.

Can you send an email to [email protected] on this. Last few days, there have been some issues with the reporting on BO. 60 day challenge report showing not correctly, and generally the PDF report not coming out properly. Should be fixed today.

This is common with all Brokerage houses not with ZERODHA.
If your positions are in LOSS ,then they will be not squared off your intraday positions till 3.30.
If your positions are start GAINING ,then your intraday positions will be squared off SHARPLY at the 3.10 or 3.15.
Columbus,

we have a uniform policy on this for all our clients irrespective of profits or losses.

@Love2trading, yesterday it was squared off late from the RMS, but it was same time for everyone...

Regarding timings of exchanges. I don't think retail traders matter much to NSE.

Its the institutions that provide most liquidity. So even if exchange is open 24/7 , market will not move, if institutions are not there. So guess what the work timings are for most institutions. Hence whatever current timings are fine.

NSE needs to worry about technology and try to keep up with the world, that's what matters the most.

Benefit to retail traders if any will be a side effect.
