Guess you are already looking at the SPAN https://zerodha.com/margin-calculator/SPAN/

If you are doing this for intraday, margin required will be 40% of 48526, which is around Rs 19000.

If you do it for overnight (NRML), the 48526 is blocked, but since you receive the premium of 12000 after writing, the margin blocked after taking both the positions will be only 36000.

Nithin did a brilliant job talking about the common traits of all the consistent winners of the 60 day challenge at the ATMA meet in Bangalore, some really good insights. A real eye opener it was, still thinking about the 20: 80 logic, like how 20% is exercise and 80% is diet and rest for bodybuilders, similarly 20% is strategy and 80% is everything else for traders to win, and all that winners do differently for that 80%.

You have to share that on this forum, if you have a video or if you can get Nithin write the same thing down as a post, I want it for quick reference.

I am also surprised, as if there is a holiday on day of expiry, the day is shifted one day in advance,so 27th being a holiday, expiry should have been on 26th. But CNBC confirmed that it is on 28th...wondering why so ??

Nest Plus issue resolved

I'm facing a problem with Nest Plus. First it stopped logging in automatically. When I tried to log in manually, it did not work and I was instructed to upgrade Nest Plus. But even after downloading the latest version and installing it, it didn't work. Then I uninstalled both Nest Plus and ZTrader, and installed them again. But to avail. What's wrong. Nest Plus does not even display the log in prompt anymore. Here's a screenshot. Kindly help. This is really frustrating. Here's a screenshot.

Sent an email to terminal@zerodha last night. Today, they resolved the issue through Teamviewer. My phone got disconnected during the Teamviewer session as I ran out of balance That might have seemed rude. Sorry about that. The issue was that I was trying to install the 2.8 version which is incompatible with ZT. Thanks a ton again! Keep up the good work. :clapping:

its just 2 different periods

It is the 26th, the same can be seen on the contracts on the terminal as well...
