Hi Zerodha,
I am not in a position to use my office pc all the time due to other manual work.
May I use "Lenevo A3000" tablet (7" screen, Android Jelly Bean OS with 3G net facility) for your latest mobile trading software ? Is it reliable for trading/ data flow accuracy ?
Anyone using/ recommend any TABLET for zerodha MOBILE TRADING software ? Please reply.
I use samsung tab 10.1 sometimes but only to watch the market. Charts on theirs mobile platform is third class unless u use NOW terminal. I would not recommend tab for intraday trading if that is your intention. For purpose of watching the market, it not bad.

I'd suggest you to use the HTML5 version "Z5", works very well on tablets, and it would work on any tablet. Check this out: https://zerodha.com/z-connect/category/tradezerodha/z5-html5-mobileweb-platform

@zerodha i have a query for u

Here's the example
I purchase 100 shares of xyz for intraday and since im not willing to take loss and exit the position...(Note: I ve full amt to conver it to CNC).....but the square off time which is given by u is 3.20 pm....n suppose if i get a profitable exit of my position after 3.20 say 3.23....then no need to take CNC na...will sq not take place in that condition
Nith,

If you don't convert your position to CNC before 3.20pm, all MIS positions(intraday) will get squared off by 3.20 pm. What I'd suggest is if you have full money use CNC to trade, you can use CNC to trade intraday also, this way you can buy as CNC and sell at 3.29pm also without worrying of it being squared off.

Ya got that so the brokerage would be 0.01% only ryt

Hello Team,

I have a question regarding the Snap quote dialog box
1) I understand that this displays the bid and ask prices, the bid on the left being blue and the ask on the right being red. What are the two digit numbers on the far left and far right of each window.
2)The volume shown here is only buy or sell respectively or total buy and sell for that particular price.
3) What is the significance of the TBQ and the TSQ numbers?
4) Last traded Quantity, what does this signify, the volume at a particular price or just the last quantity?

It would be real help if you could shed some light on the above points as it is quite puzzling for me.

Thanks

Hi Zerodha,

In my terminal today the quotes of Nifty future alone got freezed for almost
10 minutes. It usually happens for 1 to 2 minutes often but today it went to extreme.
If you could care to explain us about this it will be great.
Attaching a screenshot of my terminal.

Arun

1. they are basically the number of different orders at that price.

2. It is total buy and total sell for that price

3. Total buy quantity (TBQ) and TSQ are basically total buy and sell across all the bids and offers for that stock/contract.

4. Just the last quantity that was traded bought/sold
