meanwhile, you can try "What if" tool in nest for margin requirements.

In new backoffice, if possible try to give option to download contract notes with From: to To: dates or for whole month at one go. With this option we can have copy of contract notes in systematic order for future references .

What happened to the new software that was hyped for more than one year. Is it coming this year or not?

As Infosys Narayana Murthy once said - Under promise and over deliver.

But Zerodha seems to be following the reverse mantra - Over promise and under deliver.

Both Kotak securities and sharekhan provide bracket orders. Also interactive brokers(IB) on NSE offers bracket orders.

How is that possible?

We will have some good news for you on this soon, Sharekhan and Kotak, my guess is that offer bracket only for equity, correct me if I am wrong.

Hey J,

We still don't have the API for calculating VIX margins, so until we get it, cant be updated on SPAN. Will keep you updated.

If you take a calendar spread like what you have mentioned, you will margin for only one side of the contract which is around 3.3lks instead of 6.6lks.

We wanted it to be out first to see how it reacts to load, but you will get the excel option.

Hey Arcus, working in a regulatory environment is like being in a school with a principal (SEBI) and Vice principal(exchanges). It ain't very easy to get things done in a hurry, which is not necessarily bad, but it does slow things down. We are learning these first hand now.
