Options have circuit?

Heard it 1st time :D
Yes, they do.

On Monday, observe the behaviour of BNF 11000 PE.

It closed at 85 on Thursday. On Friday, it was rising despite the BNF going up. The upper circuit was revised from 89 to 110. Then it went down, and the lower circuit was revised from 82.1 to 50 :D

Check out this scrip on Monday.

Re: UPPER circuits

UPPER circuits for some Options were revised COUPLE of times.Today volatility is high.
How Circuits are devised?
Every F&O contract has an intraday circuit you can see this in the market depth or snap quote window. Once this price hits, there is a cooling off period for around 5 mins, after which the contract opens again for trading...

and is there any guideline for opening up upper/lower strikes? example, BNF's highest strike 14700 was the last available strike for many days.

it is today that i see a few more strikes being opened.
