Dear Zerodha,

You want to launch "Open trade" last year, but no update on it, now this year "crowd in".....any reason on opentarde....

Opentrade was a very interesting idea, but after almost 5 to 6 months time that we spent, it had to be shut down because of SEBI. It was basically on the lines of etoro and zulutrade, where you could copy the successful traders (winners of the 60 day challenge) for a small token fee..

Crowd.in is our effort to bring in some fun, gamify and hopefully also share insights..

The new backoffice platform is extremely user friendly and useful. Keep improving.

Try to allow your customers to use bug tracking system to report issues, and request features, so that the system continues to improve.

one quick question regarding new backoffice ....

When you say Previous Closing Price in Absolute P&L report (NSE-EQ) . What does that mean ?

Let me give an example, I choose 1-april-2013 to 31-March-2014 ....and got report.

Now does Previous Closing Price means 28-March-2014 closing price (it was week end - so no trade) Or 31-March-2014 closing price ?

Please confirm.

What I find in your backoffice is you are using closing price of 31-March-2014 .....however "Previous" should imply 28-March-2014 closing price ...is not it ? Please check at your side....either this is an issue or a misleading text header.

Thanks for pointing out, we will change this to closing price very soon. It is supposed to show you the P&L based on 31st March Closing price.

Do you show % P/L of individual stocks in Portfolio>HOLDINGS ? ( same for F&O)

Do you have BUY/SELL button to trade the stocks directly from Portfolio>HOLDINGS ?

Does the holding stock prices update real time in Portfolio>HOLDINGS ?


I could not check all these because I am not holding any stocks presently...so could not verify......but I would love to know these information. ...Can you please tell if these features are available . I understand you might need some time to build a full fledged portfolio software ....but these are the least features I am looking for as of now. This help me a lot to take decision.

For now you cannot trade off Q, but you definitely see the %P/L for your holdings and open positions. But we are starting work on integrating Q with trading platform.
