Hi zerodha,

I am trying to find the margin requirement in zerodha trader using Tools-> Nest Auto Plugins -> Span Calculator

Just tried with Nifty Future and following is the output where its showing around 57k as Total Margin Required:

Why is it not showing margin requirement for NF around 28k to 30k ?
Am i doing something wrong or the tool is showing incorrect value?
Is the values entered in QTY fields correct in the above image?

Please clarify.

Not using Nest charts, using Sharekhan's TT for charting, NOW for trading.

what ? you people are still using NOW ? what happened to their platform zerodha trader ........shuru hua ki nahi (commo + nse).

Can we see how Zerodha trader looks like before shifting to it? If so how and where?
Does it have nestplus charts and data table facilities?
How long it takes to migrate?
Can we mirate in weekends?

can you do me a favor? I've not yet migrated to ZT and want to know if the VWAP statistics (right click on scrip in marketwatch - tools - vwap statistics ) window shows the open interest data for NSE-F&O, BSE-F&O and MCx.

if possible pls post pics.

for vwap statistics - u have to specify the scrip in nse-fo, bse-fo and mcx othere wise u wont get any data.
specifically the OI is absent there in vwap stat and also in the intraday chsrt - data table -(actually the OI part is absent there)

Which is best S/w NOW or Zerodha Trader........ and hw s Zerodha Trader working on slow internet connection....

Now I'm thinking switch over to Zerodha Trader from NOW... Shall I continue the same.

Need ur reviews those who hv worked on both terminals.

except having all the exchanges in zerodha trader nothing more is obtained than NOW. all are same but the terminal is a vast improvement

never worked in slow internet lines (mine is 256 kbps cable internet connection)
so cud not comment upon this factor - but overall Ztrader is an improvement than NOW - which sometimes sucks. better go to Zerodha Trader - i am using Zerodha Trader long ago - for the MCX stuff - now i get all the exchanges there . its a vast improvement over NOW

Haan.. abhi commodity start nahi kiya. F&O ke chakravyuh se hi chhutkara nahi milta hai

Thank you very much. What Zerodha failed, You did a big help. Still I would like to know, any procedure to switch over like new id, passwords etc and how much time they take to switch in the present condition of zerodha.

The thing is, they will help you to switch over smoothly. I am sure that they will handhold you through teamviewer or something similar.

But my problem is, I was under the impression that the customer had a choice of Ztrader or NOW even after enabling Ztrader. Now I have received a mail saying that I will NOT be able to use NOW after migrating . So I have decided to put off Ztrader for the time being.
