The thing is, they will help you to switch over smoothly. I am sure that they will handhold you through teamviewer or something similar.

But my problem is, I was under the impression that the customer had a choice of Ztrader or NOW even after enabling Ztrader. Now I have received a mail saying that I will NOT be able to use NOW after migrating . So I have decided to put off Ztrader for the time being.

if u r in nse (cash n fno) only then its ok in NOW but if u r in all the exchanges then migrate to ZT

Zerodha trader supports cover order. NOW does not.
Zerodha trader supports SPAN calculator . NOW does not.
Zerodha trader supports Option Strategies. NOW does not
Zerodha trader supports Software updates. NOW does not

(may be someone put more such differences who is already using ZT)

Disclaimer: Have not yet migrated to ZT . but will migrate very soon because they are coming up with ZT Mobile next week.

they got whooping 700 applications ...highest so far ...than BSE/NSE.

This is going to be stiff competition.... wish they have strong flash crash proof systems.

Not using Nest charts, using Sharekhan's TT for charting, NOW for trading.

There a tiny application Nest2Ami Pro developed by a vendor.

I am using it now and also used its prior version. It basically fetches the quotes
from Nest into Ami and updates the charts, at the selected interval.

The backfill is however limited to the amount of data present in Nest's data window.

The vendor is charging Rs.250 per month, and it is a very good utility considering
the charges per month.

If anyone is interested, send me a pm and I will give the vendor's contact
details. I think I can't post the link in this forum..

does nest2amipro also provide back fill for options why i am asking is manshi good only for futures whencomes to options it failed to backfill data though capturing real time data.

for vwap statistics - u have to specify the scrip in nse-fo, bse-fo and mcx othere wise u wont get any data.
specifically the OI is absent there in vwap stat and also in the intraday chsrt - data table -(actually the OI part is absent there)

Columbus, is it better to migrate to Ztrader ? How is its memory use, specially on a computer that is already running other applications. How is its memory use compared to NOW ? That Nest plus thing is a CPU hog.

There is no difference between NOW and ZT.If you do not require charts of ZT
you can as well continue with NOW.Anyway ZERODHA is competent person to
comment on that because he knows pretty well how much hard work has gone
into it.

Can we see how Zerodha trader looks like before shifting to it? If so how and where?
Does it have nestplus charts and data table facilities?
How long it takes to migrate?

On the right you will see under trade@zerodha, blogs on different aspects on ZT. Looks and feels quite similar, but additional features like cover orders, span calculator etc..

Migrated 24hours and can be requested on weekends.. Even if you ask us on a weekday, we will migrated you typically by end of the day if not for unforseen circumstances...
