Raju,

No place actually to send an email saying you have closed. PM me your client id, I will get ILFS to send you an email saying your account has been closed..

Cheers,
Sachin,

Please request IL & FS to send me account closure mail.
Closing of account seems a difficult task.I am demanding a mail atleast for closure completion activity as I had bad experience with other broker (RK GLOBAL).
I had closed my account in 2010 and still NSE had sent me mail few days back stating I wil receive SMS for trades done via RKGLOBAL.So am being utmost careful.

Please do the requesting asp.

Thanks,
Raju

Sachin/Zerodha

I am Not able to sell the Nifty call option I am holding, neither through F11 nor through right clicking on the position (actually there is no option for selling when I right click). Is everything all right with ZT and at your end? Is there any other way I can sell my position?

Thanks

Hi Zerodha

I know commodities are cash settled in Zerodha to avoid delivery hassles..

when we receive the ECN , Do you put any indication in ECN that all transactions are cash settled ?

I was going through some article in google ...please see this excerpt ..

"...All the exchanges have both systems - cash and delivery mechanisms. The choice is yours. If you want your contract to be cash settled, you have to indicate at the time of placing the order that you don't intend to deliver the item. .."

I know we don't have any such indication facility in Nest Trader .

Most(I'd say all) of the online brokers today don't let you take physical delivery on commodities. There is no such indication put on the contract note.

Zerodha is very silent about Ztrader Mobile.....as I am saying since a while now....This will most likely be launched around first week of Jan 2013...
It is on guys, we have gotten a few guys who already beta testing it. If any of you is interested, do send an email to [email protected], we can have it enabled for you.. We will most likely be going live next week for everyone..

Cheers..

Do we have any documentation around the web trader?
Today punched in an order for Put Options with a limit price of 23.50, but that got triggered at the market price of around 22.90.
When we enter a limit order, is that not supposed to trigger after the price is crossed?
Jai,

If you put a buy order to buy at 23.5 when the market price is lesser, it will definitely get bought at market price...

For the scenario you have mentioned, you need to use SL buy order.
So what you could do in future is , put a SL-BUY, with trigger as 23.5, as soon as 23.5 comes, your option gets bought.. For more on SL orders, read following: http://www.zerodha.com/Test/connect/blog/2012/10/stop-loss-orders-limit-market
