Then I placed square off option and set limit price and its still open order at set price is higher.

From which menu you placed square off option ? trade book / order book / or any short cut ?

If I trade only on one scrip, lets say CE6000, and I have already made four trades today (bought+sold), and currently have bought 10 lots (my fifth trade), I need to monitor the MTM of that 10 lots only, is that possible.
Currently, if i check the positions, all the trades that I've done on that Scrip (CE6000) gets clubbed into one or two entries, and don't see this new position separately.

As columbus rightly put, checkout the unrealized mtm, it will show for the open position..

complete uninstall ZT !! ...this may not be a good idea.

Can you please check in your ZT if you are able to view 2 weeks intraday chart for ITC PE 300 DECM Expiry.

Just checked, I guess this option started trading only from 27 NOv and hence data available only from then..

Zerodha, somewhere you mentioned earlier you wait till 80% loss before you auto square off ..am I missing something here ?

I was talking in terms of holding positions overnight.. If margin required to hold Nifty overnight is around 25k, we would typically square it off if margin in your account drops to lesser than 22k..

For intraday also , if you have 10k in your account and have taken a position of nifty future.. We typically would square it off if your account balance comes down lesser than 5k..

I'm applying for Zerodha for trading,but as of now i'm confused,after reading many comments.
There r many platforms/utilities for trading /charting:
NSENOW,ZT,NEST, ZT plugin for Amibroker,Nest trader plugin,gfdl-ZT Plugin plus some mobile apps(ZT,NOW,tradeexpress,nest mobile etc).
I don't understand ,what i''ll get n for what price.How many user-ids/passwords i'll have for different utilities?

I also see that zerodha has some kind of collaboration with omnesys n globaldatafeed to offer discounted products.
Need more clarifications regarding pricing structure.(apart from brokerages)

I primary intend to trade nifty n gold(mcx) future intraday,with help of Amibroker or NinjaTrade charts.I also need some robust mobile apps for trade execution /monitoring,as a standby.

Which products should i opt for?

The present tie up is with global data feeds for amibroker, the only authorized vendor for ami/data and they give special rates to all our clients.. They are going live on MCX data very soon..

When you open an account with us, you will get Zerodha Trader( a version of NEST), you can trade on NSE, BSE, MCX and MCX-SX(very soon)..

You can bu ami license either online or through golbal data feeds.. Once the license is bought, you will need data for AMI, this can be subscribed from them at special rates for our clients..

Once this is done, if you need an autotrading plugin, it will be provided free of cost, where signals coming on ami, automatically result in orders getting initiated on Trading terminal.. If required this can also be automated...

Hi in ZT when i login to Nest plus and click on data table for a stock it doesn't show the current day data. I updated the Nest plus also still not able to get data for the current day.

second question: whey the speed of Zerodha trader slow these days the price ticker sometimes blinks very very slow. Previously it was very fast.

Try this, Go to Tools, NEST auto plugins and click on refresh.. The screen may freeze, but this should fix..

Speed, we haven't seen any issue.. But will check it out..

There are people online who do it, but as a member of NSE we cannot suggest any, because NSE considers it as against their data vending rules...

yes as shri r3 said i am unable to place stop limit orders in options ,whenever i tried it comes with the message the price is triggered continue or not? even though the price is not triggered at the time of placing orders,this forces me to use only limit orders please look in to this issue.

May we expect HTML 5 platform this week ?

Also please tell if we can do technical analysis here. ZT freezes sometimes and ZT Mobile does not have charting....so I'll look forward this HTMl 5 version for charting and TA....Is it supported ?

(25-22)/(25) x 100 = 12%

.

For intraday also , if you have 10k in your account and have taken a position of nifty future.. We typically would square it off if your account balance comes down lesser than 5k..

(10-5)/10 x 100 = 50%


I don't find these details in Zerodha policy doc. Will you please update the Zerodha policy doc? If I'm missing please post the link ..let me look at it again......this will save us lot of our tensions
