Now another xerox copy of Zerodha. Alice Blue Securities. Brokerage same as Zerodha. Seems like everyone want to copy Zerodha's business model

Hey Guys,

I need your help & suggestion on deciding before opening account with Zerodha. I choose Zerodha from RKSV, RKGLOBAL and Zerodha.

Now my queries are,

1. How is the ZT terminal, Is it better than NOW ?
2. How is the ZT Web Trading terminal, Is it as fast and reliable as ZT terminal?
3. Does the Zerodha web platform include the charting facility?
4. Does it have sms tarade confirmation service (on taking trade) ?
5. Does it give any Buy/Sell calls, Pre/Post market summary etc. ?

Right now I have demat account with Ventura Sec. I am quite happy with their service, but their Web platform is not that good for tarding F&O segment. Not all the option contracts are available there, and it lacks charting tool too. Otherwise Pointer(Window based terminal) is good. I am not saying great, but good.

I am much concerned about the web platform as that is what i need most for trading.

Anyone please ..??

1. How is the ZT terminal, Is it better than NOW ?

My View : NOW is a simplistic software for pure order entry and exit. Nothing fancy. ZT claims to have many many features Charts, SPAN margin calculator so on and so forth. So, theoritally better than NOW.

2. How is the ZT Web Trading terminal, Is it as fast and reliable as ZT terminal?

Web trading terminal Java based and a simple html type. Both are good. Requires getting used to these.

3. Does the Zerodha web platform include the charting facility?

NO.

4. Does it have sms tarade confirmation service (on taking trade) ?

Trade confirmation ? order executed/stop loss hit ...SMS not available (i believe) for such events.
If you are referring to EOD trade confirmation, NSE has started to send out SMS and email for the same.

5. Does it give any Buy/Sell calls, Pre/Post market summary etc. ?

For Soft, write question is how many broker he tried.. ? I think India has big population, and lot of person tried TRADING, they also try 4-5 Broker for success if they fail. Now broker policy to get all the time new clients.before Trader trade less due to high brokeragebut now a days they trade more...and soon out the market.

Trading on both these platforms is as good as trading on NEAT....

Does Zerodha provide any demo for trading online through the web platform, before opening account with them ?

Since yesterday there is no access to Nest Plus charts and data.

Even now, it keeps on asking for the user id and password for nest login, which otherwise
should happen at the start-up itself.

Email is not yet replied by Zerodha.

Called up Zerodha, they have given Nest Plus number, as if they are not concerned at
all with the issue.

And the guy on that number (mobile number) seems to he having a hell of time, it is
continuously engaged.

Zerodha keeps on meddling with something or the other every morning, and they give you
nightmares in the morning itself..

Zerodha while opening option calculator it is showing DLL error ;required dll is not registered properly. what to do

they seem hell bent on proving "Sasta Roye Bar Bar"
