I have received this mail from Zerodha, ------------Please note that the URL to the back office application would get changed post the upgrade. You can access our back office page by clicking on "Back office Login" link present on the homepage of our website---------

Since you are going to change the URL of the Backoffice. Please don't keep it in numeric format like before. Because most of the overseas internet service providers block addresses which are in numeric format because of security problems. See the image below for a better understanding of the issue.

Zerodha,
Since you did not answer my query on margin statement neither through mail nor in this forum , I'm reposting my query:

Could you please answer to the query posted in the screenshot ?

I wish to initially Trade in F&O only with Zerodha

In that case do I still have to open a demat account or I can open that later once I am comfortable in trading on this platform ?

Also have you posted any video or screenshots of the various facilities and options in the new Zerodha Trader ?

Also If I transfer funds online using Payin facility from my HDFC Bank account, do I still have to pay Rs 9 per transaction ?

Also if I place a single order for selling 500 nifty, but the order gets executed in 10 transactions by NSE, do I have to pay Rs 20/- brokerage or Rs 200/-

I am from Bangalore, so would it be possible to see an online demo of the new Zerodha Trader platform ?
I am ready to drop into your office at Banerghatta if required & complete the paperwork & see the demo, if possible

Regards

demat not required for F&O .

yes ....you can open demat later

on the RHS side of zerodha website , there is a blog ..Zconnect...you'll find feature details along with screenshots.

Also If I transfer funds online using Payin facility from my HDFC Bank account, do I still have to pay Rs 9 per transaction ?
technically should not be .. because they are maintaining HDFC current a/c....but they once mentioned that everybody be charged same way ...so most likely Rs 9 will be charged.....not sure ....Zerodha will confirm this.

Also if I place a single order for selling 500 nifty, but the order gets executed in 10 transactions by NSE, do I have to pay Rs 20/- brokerage or Rs 200/-
Rs 20. It goes by order number.

don't worry ....it does not matter where you are from..... Install TeamViewer or Ammy Admin software in your machine....Call them up for a demo ....they will take you from there remotely.

If amount is transferred using Ztrader/trade.zerodha.com website...[whenever "atom" is involved] charge rs.9 + taxes. even if you have hdfc bank account.

But for hdfc bank a/c holder one can add Zerodha as one of the beneficiary in your online account. Transfer of funds via this method = FREE; and will reflect in max an hours time.

Any particular person I should ask or to see this demo ?
I already have the latest version of Teamviewer installed on my machine.

Also it would be great if Sachin or someone else from Zerodha clarifies the Rs 9/- charge for incoming funds query
