You forgot the RBI :D
No wonder Zerodha doesnt like you :D

After reading his post, I was like..... WHAAATTTTTTT?????????????????? His post was like hitting circuits on the index, both on the long side as well as on the short side. That too in 2 days.

He sounds more like Sachins girlfriend looking forward to a diamond ring for new year, hence his post :)

I remember reading I love you also in his post :)
Did the need full added RBI UBI UTI ALSO :clapping:
But seriously no one here has any problem now that they will reduce the TRXN
charges to 190 rs per crore Isn it what they told you sumit to pacify him and reduce your blood pressure

Hi,

Can you tell me pls what margin will be required if I do a covered call writing in SBI. i.e I have 125 shares in my demat and I do a call writing of 2700 call @ Rs7.20. Is there a way I could find it out( I use Now).

Nirbhay, for a Cover Order you have to pay only 25% of the total margin prescribed by the exchange for Futures. In the case of SBI, the total margin as of today is Rs. 47271 for which 25% is Rs. 11800. However, I'd advise you not to use Cover Orders for Options as our software will automatically square it off with a loss of 1.5%. It's best suited for Futures and Equity intraday trading.

Also, Cover Orders are enabled only on Zerodha Trader exclusively, not on NOW. Write to [email protected] if you wish to migrate to ZT.

i think Nirbhay wants to know about margins for selling a SBI Covered Call and not about Cover Order for intraday :)
