Let's not digress, guys. I think the moot point here is whether the clearing charges should show up separately in the contract notes. I think yes, they should, for the sake of transparency. Zerodha, is it possible ? Should be. Maybe separating the statutory charges from discretionary will also make your accounting procedures easier. It certainly will go a long way in earning goodwill for you.
On one side they talk advertise about No Brokerage or ZERO Brokerage and it is clear from the above that the Transaction charges are being padded with extra cost for the traders (to a tune of 5 Paise for a round trip).
Its definitely not Transparent by any standards . . .
