Bad delivery would have a consequence only if you have sold the shares before getting delivery: read this blog: http://www.zerodha.com/z-connect/blog/view/btstatst-buyacquire-today-sell-tomorrow

Bad delivery mainly is because the person who sold the shares to you failed to deliver.. But you would get the shares from the auction on T+3 instead of T+2 in such a case..

Put sign according to DP records..
One was always curious if (and how) the buyer of the bad delivery gets benefits. I remember once when some shares I bought got a partial delivery and ILFS was showing a short number. After calling support, you had mentioned something about a bad delivery, and the balance quantity got allocated a couple of days later.

Do not remember any corresponding benefits in the contract note or back-office ledger.

Harsha,

To scan this info, the best way to do it is to export the marketwatch to excel and then run a formula on the excel.. I have made a note of your request to be made as a blog as this could help many others..
if i export to excel and scan , definitely it takes 2 minutes. then how i can enter trade earlier? please tell the omni team include this feature in the future version of ZT
thanks

Keep your market watch linked to Excel.

In the last columns of Excel file, keep formulas to check whether O=L or O=H,
or whatever you want

Keep Excel and ZT open before the market opens.

As soon as the market is open, the values in the excel file keep refreshing,
and whenever your conditions are satisfied, the results are displayed in that
column in real time.

There is no need to export each time.

I am trying to contact Zerodha now as I have to urgently withdraw some money, or my check will bounce, but neither i am able to their back office through the internet explorer, nor I am able to connect them on their land line, its not call waiting its simply that the call is not getting connected. Whats the problem with these guys, in place of being pompous and boasting of having 30-40 leased lines on the same number why can't they have atleast 2-3 separate numbers, and with the kind of money they are making can't they hire someone from it to make backoffice accessible even through other internet browser. Right now I have no means to connect to them. GUYS this is the problem with a dirt cheap broker. Totally irresponsible..

I suggested Zerodha to use Gtalk / Yahoo Messenger or LiveChat facility . They could avoid such situations like these.

Not sure how much progress they have done so far on this ....This kind of issue can arise to anybody.

IL&FS's (HSBC-investDIRECT) customer service is pathetically LOW,
I do not know reason why Zerodha tied up to them?
