MP what you have taken is not really a spread order..
Spread order is where you buy and sell different expiry of the same contract..
for eg, you buy TCS 1350 call Jan and sell TCS 1350 Jan call and similar .. // same expiry ...typo ?

What you have taken is just a hedged position, yes you get margin benefit for this..

Even if it is a spread order, you are not required to enter using spread order window, even if you take it separately you will get the benefit..
I guess you made a type above...I think Spread Order you referring is Calender Spread here then...which has different expiry

Hi sir
Can i link ZT market watch to Excel 2003??? What is the procedure/steps to lhe same?
thanks/brill
Yes, you can link ZT market watch to Excel to get live streaming quotes. To view quotes in Excel, you need to right click on your Market Watch on ZT and select 'Link to Excel'. In that option, you have to select 'All Items.'
Then you go to Excel and just do a paste or 'Ctrl+V' in the first cell on a blank sheet. This will enable streaming quotes on Excel. You can add your own macros to this.

Settings within Excel:
1. Open Excel - ZT supports Office 2007 and above - but it may work with Excel 2003, so you'll have to check it out yourself and give us feedback.
2. Click the "Office Button" on the top left of your screen.
3. Click on "Excel Options" at the bottom of the new window.
4. In the new window, click on "Trust Center" on left-hand side menu bar.
5. On the right-hand side, please click on an option called "Trust Center Settings".
6. In the new window, click on "Trusted Locations".
7. Click on "Add new Location" on the bottom of the window.
8. Browse and select the "Omnesys" folder from your Program Files.
This will enable Excel to receive streaming quotes from ZT.

Cheers!
Hari

Yes its always the operators whenever I lose money, otherwise in this market we can make tons of money. Operators are there so that not every Jack and Jill comes to the market.

Sumit, you are asking for "Trailing Stop Loss" sort of thing. Traders have been asking for that for a long time, but Zerodha says that the Exchange doesn't allow it, considering it to be an algo trade, which is allowed only to the dealers etc..

He and me is asking to move the sl (trail) manually towards the target once in profit, like upto break even and lock profits thereafter, giving the trade a chance to give us more profits.
