Yes possible, via an email asking us to pledge..

Comm, I guess your account would be opened more than a year back and hence for you to be able to pledge using an email would require the following document..

visit downloads and under that you will see BSE activation form, the last page is an ILFS one, we would need that..

If the account is opened recently( last 6months or earlier), you are already pre enabled..

1 How long I can hold the shares that I buy(or sell in case of futures)using the margin by pledging shares in my DP?
2.Do you charge any interest on the amount or any other charges ?

Yes, there will not be any need to open a fresh demat account also.. They will just be migrated demat account and holdings.. Would require 1 letter from your end..

2007 should not be a problem.
Login to ZT, right click -> link to excel -> all items with headers.

open excel sheet -> Cntrl V [paste].

Zerodha if i pledge all my holdings then would margin be available against any share bought thereafter or i will have to mail again for those holdings. and tell other terms and conditions if any.
