market is closed at 3.30 PM ...right ? No order can be placed after that ...correct ?

I am asking this because you know I see rates fluctuates even after 3.30 PM in moneycontrol website ....I'm not sure whether one can place order even during 3.30 PM to 3.40 PM
There is a post market which is open between 3.40pm to 4pm.. check this blog: http://www.zerodha.com/z-connect/blog/view/pre-marketpost-marketafter-market-orders

In post market you can trade only on equity shares and buy/sell based on if there is a bid/offer.. You can't place limit orders, check it out today for equity shares b/w 3.40 to 4.. remember price will not move.. trades will happen based on closing price of the day..

Is Equity MIS Intraday trading is less expensive than Equity Derivative trading ?

For example:

1 lot DLF ( =1000 ) MIS Future trading

vs

1 lot DLF ( =1000 ) MIS Equity trading

which one would be less expensive ?

By less expensive I mean (total trade charge + income tax payable to govt at the end of FY)
Yes if you mean by taxes what you pay on profits, equity is lesser than f&o.. We are putting up a blog on taxation this week, should explain all intricacies ..

But do understand that when trading equity, you can't short overnight.. If you need leverage and want to hold, we won't allow and the people who allow will charge you interest..Liquidity is much more in f&O also..

NCFM for which module(s) ?? Also, what is an Authorised person on NSE ? How does one become an Authorised person on NSE ?
NCFM for derivative markets and capital markets, dealers module..

Module available on NSE website under education..

An AP is very similar to Sub-broker.. Sub-broker needs to get a SEBI certification, but an AP needs only to be registered at the exchanges.. HEnce the process much faster/simpler..

As an AP, you can get access to dealer terminals..

Its really very frustrating to write this here about your deteriorating service.
I placed withdrawal Order from Back office on Friday 7:30 AM and follow up with customer care for authorizing the same.
Even after couple of calls request approved Friday 7:00 PM and then they told me that money will be there in the account by tomorrow. But it is already 7:20 PM Saturday and no money called up your guys they told they have already done it and money might got credited by any time but its not.
My bank is SBI and any kind of online transfer should get credited by now.
I request to Zerodha to explain why there is a delay of 2 days to get the money credited to our bank.
Friday was expiry of global indices, the s&P futures and DJIA futures that trade on NSE. On this day we receive the trade files from the exchange very late, after the opening of the US markets..
We can process the fund payouts only after processing of daily trade files, usually on such days it is around 9pm...

NEFT/RTGS would be sent to the bank late in the night itself, but this would be processed by the bank only next day morning(sat morning)..

If it is HDFC Bank, you would receive the funds immediately, but for other banks it depends on how long RBI takes to process the payouts and because it is saturday they don't do any after 1pm.. My guess is it should be in your account by monday morning..

It is our executives mistake not educating about this, but the payout can be delayed on every 3rd friday of the month when there is a global expiry..

Zerodha,

That I understand bro BUT what about cheque and PAN etc documents because while opening the Commodities Account with you around 4-6 months back, he has already given all the relevant documents and these days he is indulged in active trading with Zerodha, so please tell me whether he is required to provide the same documents ALONG WITH a cheque of Rs 200/= favouring Zerodha OR simply download a form and fill that and send to Zerodha.

Waiting to hear from you ........
