Zerodha Part 2

Same with me also. I am also asked by zerodha to again submit KYC documents. But I am already registered with CVL KRA and NDML KRA while opening account with other brokers last year.

How do I know the KRA number? CVL and NDML KRA website showing me as KRA Registered after entering my PAN number. Please help, I don't want to submit the documents again and again.

I am not sure if other users of ZT are facing this issue. So posting here..

Problem: Sometimes when I login to ZT (about 3 out of 10 times), it hangs in between. Most of the hang happens when the Message bar has the last message "Request Sent to get trades" and Download Scrips progress is at 55%.
The only way to recover is to close the program, start again and try to log in. Is anyone else facing this? This hanging is not related to speed. My connection speed is 256Kbps sometimes and 2Mbps otherwise and hanging happen in both cases.

Zerodha, Is this a known issue? Is there a fix for it?

Log out and Log in again.This may help you.

Dear Zerodha, there is some technical glitch occuring on online site : where in Netwise positions u only see modifiied values of option strikes held earlier while new positions are not added to it. Plz try to get this sorted as this is causing lots of confusion.

Dear Zerodha, In connection with the issue, I like add, in case due to some reason, say system/ server failure or net connection failure, if I do not square off , what may happen?

Gold/Silver/Agricommodities are compulsory delivery contracts. So what it means is that if they enter the compulsory delivery period, you can get assigned. So if you are long, you are forced to take delivery and short give delivery, but only if assigned.. Getting assigned is not common, but if you are, then god only can save you.. Image what you would do with a quintal of turmeric.. ..

But not to worry, because we at Zerodha ensure that all positions are squared off before the commodity goes to compulsory delivery or roll over the positons... The time given is till around 6pm the day before it goes to compulsory delivery..

Crude, Alum, copper, Zn etc are cash settled, so works like nifty futures. On the expiry exchange releases a due date rate(DDR), all contracts are settled in cash according to the due date rate..
