Dear Zerodha,

what is the status of " market orders"? I am ready to pay extra money for that facility.
As someone said, that feature will be like opening pandora box for you?

Hi zerodha are you planning any fixed monthly plans like 1500 per month or 2 K per month
one more of my friend is wanting to open an account , last time though how much argument we had i referred my friend to open an account with you when his account was not opened for whole week i referred him to RKSV ( who opened it in two days But sadly they lost to you as they don't want to do anything more then giving 1947 per month no software no value added services )

Now this friend was also looking for Fixed plan but he is very scared of NOW software ( so cant refer to him RKSV)
and as he trades intraday 10 - 15 times a day 20 rs will be little expensive for him
Mayank, discount broking around the world, the logic is simple, the effort put from a broker is just the same no matter if the guy buys 1 lot or 100 lots at a time and hence the brokerage charged is same irrespective of the size of the trade..
But to say that effort put is same for every client, if he trades once in a month or 1000 times in a month is a wrong logic..Personally I think for a business to grow in a long term the logic has to be right, I may be wrong about it..

As a business also we believe that the logic is wrong and most likely will never have a fixed per month scheme.. It is one thing to start a business model, but it is also important that business has to be profitable for long term sustenance of the model.

I am trying to contact Zerodha now as I have to urgently withdraw some money, or my check will bounce, but neither i am able to their back office through the internet explorer, nor I am able to connect them on their land line, its not call waiting its simply that the call is not getting connected. Whats the problem with these guys, in place of being pompous and boasting of having 30-40 leased lines on the same number why can't they have atleast 2-3 separate numbers, and with the kind of money they are making can't they hire someone from it to make backoffice accessible even through other internet browser. Right now I have no means to connect to them. GUYS this is the problem with a dirt cheap broker. Totally irresponsible..
Nirbhay, Most of the businesses today gives only 1 support number, it has got nothing to do with being a dirt cheap broker.. We have had calls coming in continuously through the day, it could be bad network that could have caused it from your end..

An email to [email protected] should do the trick, also the backoffice has been up the whole day, so confused..
 
I was calling from Vodaphone Mumbai and your number was not reachable, then I tried my fathers number (on roaming) to call you and it got connected, and as this phone was on roaming you graciously called back on my Mumbai Voda number. So the network was not down, only my calls were not reaching you(but everyone else) May be there is a compaitibilty issue between the service providers I don't know for sure. My only request to you is pls be accessible to your customer all the time during trading day as time is of huge huge importance. And I had previous problem also with your number and I mailed at your email address and do you know what the response time was?????? 3 hours. And a lot can happen in 3 hours.
Pls have a chat facility if possible or more numbers. Even the your landline is not clear. See these things are small but if a trader cant reach his broker trader is dead, if not today and some other day. Now I will not put all my eggs in the same basket...

today i got e-mail from il&fs stating that "we observe that you have outstanding
DP service charge of RS.20.96 as on 31/12/2012 to be paid to us.
we request to clear the same as soon as possible. In case you already made the payment, please ignore this."
one month before i started the il&fs and zerodha account and total number of intraday trade =1
what to do? shall i pay the amount or ignore it? i need a clarifications.
