Hi,
I have a request, can we have a forum kind of thing for existing clients to discuss things pertaining to zerodha and updates of zerodha on your site or a dedicated one.It would be really convenient for us(clients) and i am sure it wouldn't be too much of a burden for you guys too...Either way great going guys,a big thumbs up....

Can you please give the tariff of IL&FS demat account.
I have read about SBI linking somewhere whats that ?
After I give payout request how much time does it takes to recieve money and most important question, do you have a call n trade facility if yes, will there be a dedicated fixed dealer for client or any RM assigned and how you people verify the client over phone any T-PIN given ?
ILFS, amc: 400

We have hdfc and axis banks linking for direct payment gateway... SBI will be introduced soon...

Payout requests given before 6.30pm is processed on same day and funds can hit your account same night or latest before next day afternoon...

Yes call n trade facility is available, but we want clients to use it only in circumstances where there are no other options available....We verify by PAN number and date of birth...
No concept of RM's and etc...
Cheers....

ILFS sold its trading business to HSBC.... The depository business is still being run by ILFS, the only pure dp in the country.... If you open an account HSBC investdirect, you would get a trading account with HSBC , but your demat account will still be maintained by ILFS, similar to how it works with Zerodha...

Cheers.....

Trading account opening charge: Rs 300, if you print our forms and send it , then Rs 200... Zero Amc for software etc etc...

You don't need to send us an initial margin cheque while account opening, you can transfer it to your account at your convenience... We ideally prefer online transactions , as it is much faster way of doing it.. If you don't have hdfc or axis, you can do a neft transfer online... You can also drop cheque in favor of Zerodha in your nearest hdfc bank with your client id mentioned on the back of the cheque....

We let you carry forward positions overnight only when there is enough margins in the account.. So assuming you have 30k and you have taken 3 lots of nifty fut for intraday, you can carry forward only 1 position overnight.... Assuming you have only 1 lot and margin required is 28k, if your account balance is 20k, and by 3.15pm funds don't show up, it gets auto squared off....

One of the ways we can work at these costs is by setting rules for everyone which is in interest of everyone involved...

About ILFS, DP outgoing charge is Rs 15, amc is Rs 400...

You can leave your name and number on india@zerodha, we will call you up and take it forward..

Cheers....

@ ZerodhaOnline

In your online application form, plz clarify the following :

1) Mother's maiden name - Is it mother's name with surname before marriage?

2) If Correspondence Address = Permanent Address then shall I have to fillup correspondence address again?

3) If occupation is this trading & investing only what will he write in "Employment Details" ?

4) If I mark all 3 segments in "Trading Preference" shall I be charged more in a/c opening charges?

5) I wish to trade in equities and F&O and may be currency derivatives also.
I want to link my Sharekhan DP a/c to your trading a/c.
I'll fillup your online application form, take printout and mail it to you.
What will be my a/c opening charges ?

6) There is no place to write the DP details in your form in case I want to link my existing Demat a/c to your trading account. Shall I have to submit any other form for this?

Mother's maiden name :
Is it mothers first name without surname as you said
OR
Is it mothers full name with surname before her marriage ?

If occupation is Self employed, then what will I write in "Name of Establishment" ? I trade from home so I assume office address will be the same as my permanent address.
