any statement that you might have received from your broker with dp number on it... if you haven't received you can ask your existing broker to provide you one...

Transaction charges( including nse charges and clearing charges) is Rs 540/crore(0.0054%)... so if you buy and sell 1lot of nifty futures at 5000, total transaction charges would be around 25 rs...

Thanks zerodha... my broker charges Rs 100 as CLEARANCE CHARGE for buying and selling one lot of nifty.

I have test transferred Rs10 from canara bank as NEFT to your HDFC bank account with on 11/2/2011 at 11:00 am and NEFT was successful but the amount is not showing in backoffice ledger balance/ withdrawable balance.

One of our colleagues uses a mac, he has both the mac and windows operating systems on it... nowonline.in works on safari... the only challenge that we have faced on safari is that you can't add scrips on the marketwatch...

The workaround is that you can save marketwatch on internet explorer using another system with all the scrips you trade and then trade using your ipad...

Also vmware has this product called fusion, this can be installed on your ipad and all the windows applications can be run through it...demo is available on their site...

i m not asking about virtual os or vmware...

is there any way of new software or anything like that..as zerodha is giving mobile software which is in my view excellent...

Maybe the backoffice is not equipped to handle such large transactions, and may take some time for the amount to be cleared by the RBI, as all such huge transactions require RBI approval. Then comes the clearance from the Ministry of Finance.

Till then, it may take a few days for the amount to reflect in the ledger.
