I faced a similar problem with my HDFC bank a/c it was due to a missing zero in the beginning.

Called up B'lore and informed them, problem solved.

hope it helps.

Same was the case for me.Missing zero in the a/c no.May be its a way they come to know one has actually started depositing. It makes them know tradig a/c is actually active.Called up and they said 0 was to be added.

thanks Comm... I am facing same problem...

I think you are right....
Must be sorted by now.... @rookitrader, we wouldn't do it purposely, just to figure out if account is active or not... :) ... The reason this happens a few times is because, the data which goes onto NOW is fed through a spreadsheet... With the spreadsheet 0 in the beginning is ignored if that particular file doesn't have the preset formulae... Cheers...

Hi Zerodha,

Just to check out how it works on NOW i bought a few shares for BTST. In holding i can see the quantity, but i dont see any link to sell there. How can i sell the shares?
To sell the shares you have to place a sell order for the same quantity and make sure you choose CNC in the order type while selling... When you choose CNC, only the shares available in holding can be sold.... Cheers...

phew...my logic went wrong.need to backtest again:confused:

Well one more query.I checked my ILFS account. The shares bought yesterday are still not getting reflected. How long does it take to get reflected there.Or is it that they show up there only after delivery?
