One of the irritating drawback of Zerodha is we can not instantly transfer funds from bank to trading account.

You have to pay by NEFT/RTG which take couple of hours. By the time fund received market will close

Now a days NEFT transfer is charged as min as Rs 5 too. Which also not very encouraging and can not do frequently.

Instant transfer can be done with HDFC or Axis bank.

I found drawback with Ledger , its not maintained in a simple way, one has to concentrate in order to check his all transactions.

I am trying to install NOW in my new PC with Win XP but the error is flashing all the time while running NOW "OS error" why it happens with NOW, never had such problem with Trade Tiger , PIB and software from Aditya Birla and that too when NOW is directly from NSE server.

As long as your system has a standard Windows configuration, NOW has to work on it. Get the software installed by calling us and you can start trading immediately.

NSE NOW has a direct transfer option available with HDFC and Axis banks. These are instant transfers. For other banks, you have to do a NEFT/RTGS transfer.

If I were you, I would call up zerodha and they would help me installing Now using Team Viewer or something like that.
That saves time for me and also would not have to worry about getting the problem fixed through social networking site only.

I can't give you an answer as to why the installation isn't successful without looking at your system configuration. I can assure you this much: We will make NOW work on your system.

I have called many times zerodha and have gotten my problem fixed but there is no single problem with NOW, many of us here are getting problems of different types, so how many times should we called them to take our PC on team viewer, why NOW can't be reliable software?

My concern is to suggest to improve NOW software instead of taking everyone's PC remotely and fix the problem.

I agree with you. We never know if competitors are here and posting such queries which can be easily address by calling them. I feel that the issues raised should be general and if Zerodha is not addressing them or is not responding, which doesn't seem to the case here.

Dear I am not a zerodha competitor but their client who have left other reputed broker like Indiabulls where I am getting 0.01 and .01 brokerage.

I think minimum in Indiabulls.

Kindly try to keep a link for FAQ in this thread. I think the thread had grown a lot and the new members who want to find answers for simple questions had to go through the entire thread or they have to ask repeated simple questions like what's the intraday margin for a nifty lot, intraday margin for writing a option, when the SBI gateway is going to get activated etc.. Just a thought..
