you said in this forum that you will be squaring up positions for f&o at 3.10pm and not allowing any further positions between 3 and 3.10 but one can square up positions in this period

DO YOU MEAN THE SAME FOR INTRADAY CASH

To clarify: All margin positions will be squared off only from 3:10 PM. We will not allow you to take fresh positions after 3:00 PM.

My windows in standard configuration and no antivirus is installed on it.

I have no problem in installing and running other trading platforms, then why with NOW?
Try NOW,after restarting the computer.

Yes, this is true. We charge you an additional Rs. 20 for an Admin Squareoff from our end. If a trader is disciplined about his positions and cuts them on his own, there is no additional charge.

Thanks a lot for the clarification. That's a big relief :thumb:. No new positions after 3 is ok, additional 10 minutes to close existing positions really makes a lot of difference.

Sir we are clients of zerodha not NSE so any concern about NOW should take up by Zerodha with NSE.
Sir I duly agree to you that we are clients of Zerodha. But you are forgetting a fact the Zerodha provides its services through NSE's developed software NOW. And if NOW gives any problem it would be common to all the other brokers too, who would be providing their services through same software.

For more queries some gentle man has provided a e-mail id to contact NSE developer team. You may raise issues infront of them.

Also, for this issue you cannot held your broker responsible.

One last thing, if NSE NOW developing team says that the problem is not from there end then I would be the first one to stand with you to ask Zerodha for not providing proper services.
 
I had been trading with some of the self proclaimed "BEST BROKERS" in the industry, and my final review was they are the WORST. I have been trading with ZERODHA from Dec 2010, faced some disconnection problems but not for hours together, only for a few seconds and the good thing is it automatically gets refreshed. Secondly, there was so much arguement for the square off time lessened by 10 mins, wheras i faced problems where my whole plan was changed without even prior information.
A problem once in a blue moon is far far better than the problems which i faced day in and day out with other brokers even after stuffing their always hungry stomachs with hefty brokerages.
I am confident and sure that ZERODHA will surely take necessary steps for a disconnection free NSE NOW at the earliest. And also expedite in fulfilling the other promises made by ZERODHA. We, atleast I am waiting with bated breath for the Commodity trading to start, ICICI to be included for payin, Charting software.
Friends, lets cheer up for ZERODHA and their user friendly team for their good work.
