Has anyone here been able to place a order using Blackberry application?

I'm using Blackberry 8520. When I try to login I get the message "Login Failed. Invalid username or password."

My login info is correct because I am able to login using my desktop computer with the same credentials.

Further, it is not easy to enter login/password in the relevant fields of blackberry app because cursor keeps on jumping between the 3 form fields. I guess, those who have tried can understand.

Sachin, can you please pas on the feedback to NSE team that their Blackberry applications's login screen needs urgent modifications to make it possible for a customer to enter his credentials quickly?
Will find out about 8520, it works fine on a lot of models....

Hi,

I was not able to do any transactions using mobile version since morning. Though Iam able to login into, when I try to click any of the icons like "Place Order", "Balances","Market Watch" etc, I could see an error stating "Invalid AccountId". I was able to do the transactions all these days. Its just happening since this morning. Iam using Java Version on Nokia E5. Do I need to install the S/W again in order to resolve this issue? Please confirm

Yes, mine is BB Curve 3G and it is working perfect.

Sachin, I hold Unitech shares, but i couldn't see them through NOW mobile. I think we can see only FnO/Intraday ?

Also, how can I squareoff those shares? ofcourse i want to hold them for long term, but i am just wondering how to sell them as i couldn't see any such option.

Btw, you have promised to prepare video simulations on how to use NOW, some time back in Jan, but i still don't see that happen, though there are some on youtube (very few).

Thanks,
Giri

Hello,
I forgot my NOW password and transaction password... filled forgot password form in now online... but didn't received anything yet in my mail...

The stamp duty in Karnataka is 0.01% with a maximum of Rs 50 per day...We are presently charging all clients based on Karnataka Stamp duty... So on the first lot you trade the stamp duty will look higher and hence showing more points to breakeven...

Most of the states charge between 200 to 500/ crore... so if you trade 20 lots you would pay anywhere between 200 to 500, but with Karnataka it is a maximum of Rs 50...
Hi,

As You are collecting less stamp duty from your clients (actual collection is as per the residence address proof provided by client... state-wise to be calculated and deposited in bank every month. ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE HAS SUCH PROVISION FOR CALCULATION).
The Brokerage firm will not be held liable to pay difference of stamp duty with penalty(10 times of deficit) anytime upto ten years from the date of contract.

Kindly correct me if my understanding is not right.
