Dear Zerodha, is it possible to switch plans? I have opted ofr the 20 rs per trade, and since my quantity is going to be small for a few days, can I opt for the 1 paise plan, and then shift after a week or so? Is it possible to shift plans on such a short notice? and how much time would it take?
Thanks in advance.
PS: Dont change it right now, just enquiring for now :)

Hi Salma,

Yes you can change the plans, presently we switch your plans without cost as many times as you want... We will soon give you an option to switch it yourself on the backoffice...

Presently the new plan would be applicable from the next day, but once given on the backoffice you can do it immediately...In the future we intend to give upto 3 switches a year free of cost and charge some amount if you exceed them...

Send us an email to [email protected] from your email to do so... Cheers..

Sachin,

What are new features/improvements in the new NOW version? Are there any release notes that we can refer to?

One thing I noticed is that even if I shut down the application, it still allows me to log in again, directly without having to log out.

dear sachin, if we changed the 20rs plan to 1paisa brokerage, how to calculate the brokerge? it means r u given the brokerage calculator for 1 paisa trade? like 20rs plan calculator :thumb:
Hi Meta, Yes we can send a calculator for the 1 paise plan also... The f&o bit remains the same, just change in cash markets...Do send an email, if you want... Cheers..

I somewhere read that if we buy shares on a Monday, so they come in Demat acc only on Wednesday! So on Tuesday, if there's a sudden rise, can't we sell them just because BTST is risky as the seller can default and we too can later automatically default since we'll have no shares?
So this way, we lost the profit moment??

YES ,it is true the shares appear in T+1 day.(Trading day +1)
But an entry is made in NET POSITION or RECEIVABLES ,from there
you can sell. You ask your broker ,how to deal with the case.
Or you can do one thing ,you buy a share in SMALL lot ,next day you
try to sell it from your NET POSITION.
