Re: new cheapest broker is here. Zerodha

To Zerodhaonline/ Sachin :

Why didn't u answer my query which I had asked u on the page 37? Is it because the answer is not positive or u genuinely missed it? :)

Thanks and Regards

Understood.

but doesn't an MIS order type get automatically converted into a CNC type if I have required amount of money in my account?(if someone wants to carry forward intraday long positions)
It doesn't get converted automatically.. but you can right click on your net position and convert it into CNC if you have the margin available...

Can we trade in ALL the stocks of ALL groups and take delivery as well? Which and what groups of stocks, or number of stocks, u allow to trade and delivery in?

Thanks and regards
Sorry Punter had missed this... You can trade every stock on NSE as per the NSE rules. IF T2T, then it has to be T2T... But otherwise, you can trade and take delivery of all the stocks available on NSE.. Margin trading available only on A and B group... Cheers..

Hi. By when can we expect this to happen. Reply on funding of overnight posn is still awaited. Pl reply.
Hi Nikhil, The problem is these strategies are not recognized at the exchange level. So the first problem is, most of the trading platforms are not designed to recognize these strategies and assuming we can get the platform to do it, we will not get any margin benefits from the exchange, we would have to do it as a value add...We are trying our best to find a path in between, which takes care of the interest of both of us...
If you require overnight funding, we can have an arrangement for you through ILFS. If you can leave us a mail on [email protected], we will get this arranged for you. ...

Cheers...

Thanks Zerodhaonline/ Sachin for answering my question. Just one more question on this topic out of curiosity. U especially mentioned NSE, so do u allow to trade and take delivery of NSE listed stocks only? What abt the BSE? If u do allow to trade BSE listed stocks then are the (NSE) rules - hopefully- same for the BSE also?

Thanks and regards :)

Re: new cheapest broker is here. Zerodha

Hi Zerodha,

Could you place some videos/simulations for trading with NOW online. Since most of the traders here are not familiar with NOW interface, it would be very helpful if you can put such simulations on your website.

Thanks for your time in responding to our queries.

Thanks,
Chanti

Re: new cheapest broker is here. Zerodha

Annual maintenance for demat is not 600, it is Rs 400

Yes 20/transaction is all you pay.

Yes you are right about ETF's

With 50k in your account you can take 10 times exposure for intraday equity and trade futures with 50% of span margin. For delivery and overnight positions, you need to bring in exchange stipulated margins.. Cheers..
Zerodha,

If you say annual maintenance is Rs.400/= i have paid an initial cheque of Rs.600 why the 200 extra because for demat the payment of 200 is deducted after every 6 months is it not.

Re: new cheapest broker is here. Zerodha

wow...this is too tempting...

looks like we finally have a new-age professional broker.

@ Sachin: The brokerage plans are clear, but I need some information regarding the terminal that you are providing...

1. Does it have real-time charting facility for all stock and index futures? If yes, what timeframes? (tick/1Min/5Min/60Min/Daily)
2. How much historical data do the charts have?
3. What are the types of orders that we can place? (Market/Limit/Stop and can we place good-till-cancelled orders?)

Thanks!
