Hi all the members!

I have a query regarding withdrawal of funds, in fact, two queries.

One. Is it as hassle free as sugested by Zerodha. Just Place your request and the funds will be in your account within 24 hours?

Two. How many of you have withdrawn funds? Why I am asking this is because we all know that trading is a black hole, despite best technical skills, for most of us, and we rarely get a chance to withdraw funds from our trading a/c. Is Zerodhaa lucky broker whose association brings luck to us.

1. Yes withdrawal of funds is easy as stated.
2. No Zerodha is not a lucky broker of any sort. It is a brokerage firm which reduces your cost of trading.

Hey Shinchan,

Fund withdrawals are a cakewalk!!

People focus too much on techincals, fundamentals etc etc... The guys who make money are the ones who can get the right trading size...People overtrade every trade and by the time there is a right trade they undertrade....

If this was a game of a car race, we give you a car which is faster and more efficient...The driving skills... hmm...

As they say Men of action are favored by the goddess of luck!!! ;)...

Luck in trading!

There is no question of LUCK in trading.

People can learn technical, fundamentals etc . and find their suitable system. But still then it is a only a 60-75% successful system. And without proper risk management & money management, success is not possible with that type of system and no one can teach it. It is a self-learning process only, thats why most of trader failed.

The funniest thing is, Scientists test that fact with 60% probability system [3 white ball and 2 black ball] with some Top most brains of our society [lucky?] from various fields like PhD, scientist, doctor, engineer, etc. The success rate is below 15%. Almost 90% were looser. So it is a different profession & we (Traders) are not lucky but .
Cheers. :)

So true, I guess most people overextend themselves HOPING that they'll end up on the right side of the trade & thereby, will make huge profits but they overlook the fact that potential of making huge profits comes with the potential of making huge losses.

Dear ZERODHA,

I am still waiting for your advice or suggestion on my post http://www.traderji.com/brokers-trading-platforms/47790-zerodha-469.html#post592791

Thanks in Advance.

One Fact about taxes or charges

If I trade 50 Lot of NIFTY (@5000) in a day I have to pay charges as below

Stamp Rs 500 (My broker) Rs 50 (ZERODHA)
Transaction Rs 475 (My broker) Rs 1350(ZERODHA)

So off course I can save Rs 450 per day on Stamp charges with Zerodha

Ok, I'm thinking of opening an A/C with either HDFC or Axis......so which one would be better.....any advice on this?

I'm thinking HDFC.......but is it true that HDFC keeps bugging us to keep 30-40K? (looking for more experiences from other traders with HDFC) -

If we use 3-4 a/cs we have to park 30-40k in these banks. Now HDFC is worst of lots who keeps bugging to maintain balance even though balance is maintained. I used to get almost 10 calls a month to mainatin balance! Since direct linking helped us to transfer in money during trading hours and get back at 3.30, why would 1 keep money in bank? They did not wait for 3.30 or see daily closing balances. For the same reason I closed my HDFC a/c

Is this really true! If so, that's fantastic :)

2. Payouts, ........Any of our client who has hdfc bank account will vouch for the fact that the funds come in the same night, as it is an intra bank transfer(we bank with hdfc)!!!

Is HDFC or AXIS's performance same in payout @nowonline.in

I have same question as Newbie Day-Trader.
Is the performance with both bank HDFC Bank & Axis Bank same (instant & free) for payin and payout with nowonline.in?
Or HDFC better?
I have a/c in both bank but personally prefer AXIS.
As we can set only one bank for payout, which will be best or both same?

zerodha, pls answer this whenever possible. Thanks in advance.

You could try opening a zero balance account with HDFC Bank. Going with HDFC makes more sense as long as you are trading with Zerodha because payouts(if all goes well) would happen on the same day.
