Wow.Was waiting for Zerodha to start commodities. One query i have
Will we have associate program for commodity also? The thing is me and my buddies will be moving to zerodha as i have told them good things about you. So you will get around 8-9 big accounts together. So wanted to reap benefits of the associate program

A no hassle account opening. Good. Received 3 "Zerodha Cares" mails and 2 "Client Welcome" mails. Good.
But I notice in your pricing plan that "0.1% or Rs. 20 whichever is lower" does not apply to options, which are still charged @Rs. 20 per trade

So even if we had to charge 0.01% or Rs 20, we would have to do 0.01% of the contract turnover, which in 99% of the case would be more than Rs 20...
For eg, you buy nifty 5000 calls at Rs 100, you are doing a turnover of 255000... at 0.01% this would be Rs 25 or Rs 20 whichver is lower and 20 would apply.... But explaining this to a lot of people is tough... hence kept it easy for everyone.... Cheers....

Yes we will have the associate program, we are automating the whole process from referal to payouts for the associate program... We are completely ready on this module now and will be of great help if more people start participating on it... Login to backoffice and refer... We don't like to call people who have not asked us to be called(telemarketing ) ... So would be a help, if the person knows that we would be calling him....

I want to open trading and demat a/c with Zerodha, My location is thane, is Zerodha have branch office in thane/mumbai.
I need some information
1. Is there are 2 diff Brokerage plans i.e. 0.01/0.1 and Rs 20 or it is combine with maximum rs. 20.
2. AMC for trading and DP account? Software charges if any?
3. Pay in and payout charges for Axis bank internet banking?
4. Is Zerodha is planing for BSE also?
5. How much is exposure against say e.g. Rs. 10000 in my a/c and also against stock?
6. NSDL or CDTL? as i have @ 2.0 lac stock in NSDL (Axis) which i may wish to transfer
7. Can I place offline orders when before market open?
8. While placing order can i have to select whether it is for Intraday, delivery?
9. If i buy with margin and cant able to sell EOD, then whether system auto square off my scipt (if yes, at what time?) and if no then how much time give to me for square off or pay?

I would love to trade out of the money Nifty call / put at 10 - 20 paise range - one lot at a time, to keep people employed at Zerodha.
