ok..i used the brokerage calculator of zerodha.actually i was considering it as a flat 20 rs deal per trade.
for charts,do the free websites like moneycontrol or rediff show realtime results?whats the advantage of using sharekhan (i am asking for charting purposes,not trading)over zerodha?

For Stocks free RT data is available from yahoo, bazaartrends etc. Others may also offer but I do not know.

For charting right now Sharekhan is easier/better compared to NSE NOW.

Also there is another column "retention" under which two options are available

I suppose day is for validity till the closure of market for the day. Am I right? But what is IOC?


I saw these abbrivations of NOW web platform. Can anyone help me?

You can simply drop email to [email protected] for reset your trading account password. They will get back to you with resetted Login & Txn passwords.
