SBI has 9 times margin, so if you have the 80k in your account you can by SBI worht 7.2lks..

Not talking intraday.. Sharekhan lets you convert intraday positions from margin to investment.

You do not need 100% in your account to do this. For example: i'm holding 2L worth with 85K in my trading account...

They call it 5 day square off

Oops, i thought your were askign for intraday... Presently no leverage given for overnight positions... The 5 day square off is still not available with us..

Is it exe installed on PC just like Odin ?

What about auto square off after 3 odd pm ?

It is EXE installed similar to ODIN...

Yes there is a auto square off, but only if you are trading with a higher leverage than what is allowed... Otherwise no square offs

I talked to Zerodha customer care.Sounds like good economical service.But it seems they do not have advanced charting software.This is a crucial gap.

Is there any Delay in Nse Now in pricing and Nifty Index (In Indices Dialog)... Yesterday & 2day i felt so.When i see Sharekhan Nifty point , Moneycontorl site and Nse Now... There is a around 20sec delay Is it only who is facing this ??

Till Yesterday Nse Now was faster than all others.

At 12.57pm

Nifty Readings in

Nse Now - 5208 (-13.5)
Sharekhan - 5200 (-22.30)
Moneycontrol Site 5201.70 -21.70 ??


Also i just Noticed now

The Time in my NSE NOW 13.01pm

ie 3 minutes late !!!

What is the difference between NSE Now Pc Software and NEST except Name? I was under the impression that they both are made by the same company and have same features and functions as one another.

One question regarding the Zerodha Trading Challenge...

Say, I have 1.25L in my account... I have shorted 2 lots of Nifty 5500PE, 2 lots of Nifty 5500CE and 2 lots of Nifty futures on 14th February. The ledger balance would obviously show more than 1.25L at the end of the day. Zerodha challenge started on 15th February.

My question is what is the initial amount in my account on the beginning date of the challenge?
