Now login screen not opening even after 10 mins.
Early in the morning login is not a prb. But after markets open, especially after 2 pm, getting the logon screen is a BIIIIGGGG hassle.

Anyone else facing this?

Zerodha has started charging Rs 9 for instant fund transfer Which I feel it is ridiculous. No other brokers do that.
OK Zerodha,
Make it Zero and revise brokerage from 20rs/order to 25rs/order.

ALL HAPPY ? Zerodha behaved like other Brokers....

As they use gateway for such transfers ,nothing comes for free for Zerodha also. Do ppl feel Zerodha is incurring only 1-2 rs for such transfers ?

Thanks for the interesting info which I was not aware of specifically the no STT part. Do you get intraday margin for this? and obviously you must be needing a Demat account to carry overnight?
No intraday margins for etfs, yes you need a demat to carry overnight...

I think the free transfer is from your HDFC Bank a/c to Zerodha's HDFC bank account.

It might not be instant as you need to tell Zerodha to credit the same amount into your trading a/c.

It should take less time than NEFT transfer. Actually it depends how quick you chase them. :)

But of course it's a hassle.
Hey Trader,

I have put this once already.. The reason hdfc/axis is free on NOW is because, as of now NOW is not charging anything for this.. They could start charging, and then we would have to pass back the charge to our client...

The Rs 9 is charged because it costs us Rs 9 for every fund transfer done by our client... This is our payment gateway costs..

Why we can't take it on our head??

Put yourself in our shoes and tell me how we can?...

1. There are around 2000 of our clients who do just delivery based trades.. 1 trade a month to 1 trade a quarter..

2. 60% of these guys do purchase of less than Rs 5000...

3. If you transfer 5000 and buy stocks for delivery, you would pay a brokerage of Rs 5... But because u transferred funds using the payment gateway, my payment gateway cost is Rs 9.. So I am making a net loss of Rs 4...

4. There are so many clients who transfer funds and never trade... My loss because of this is Rs 9...

5. So now you tell me, does it makes sense to do business for a loss? We don't want to bring in differential pricing, that is charge people differently..

It is like you are running a shopping mall and you are paying people to enter the mall hoping that they will end up shopping... would you???

So tell me what would you do if you were running the business???
