It's you that running business. Now Zerodha is counting single penny and you know Rs 4 even matters for them.
Somewhere Zerodha itself mentioned that Rs 9 (cigarette buying matter??) not a big deal for clients to pay for transfer.
Come on it's our hard earning. It's not a black money. We Indian at least know the value of money.
If it's not a big deal why shouting for now for Rs 4 which is even less than Rs 9.
Nevertheless I would never support Zerodha for Rs 9 for fund transfer Whether Zerodha likes or not.
Come on you are running a business and promising the better service.
Zerodha will feel the heat of Rs 9 by next month. If some more charge comes up then definitely clients will take step back.
Tomorrow Zerodha will come up that NEST/ NOW is charging more and we are passing the cost to clients. this is not a professional business.
After all we are not stupid. We all know, no broker charges for fund transfer at least.
Sorry for interruption but ............. I would like to mention some points (I would address YOU which will be for EVERYONE and not specifically you, so please dont take it on your heart)
When you go to any restaurant, do you ask the manager to reduce the VAT & other "hidden charges" saying why they are "passing" those charges to you
(P.S. : In a good restaurant, the bill can carry those "extra" charges in a shape of more than 100/- & sometimes even more than 500/- when you go there with family/friends but we never think twice to pay that extra amount in one go because we like the food & etiquette of that particular restaurant and even after we know that the restaurant is expensive, we willingly go to that particular restaurant again & again because of their services. The term "hard earned money" or "its not a black money" or "the value of money" does not disturb us at that time.)
When you are thirsty and need to drink a coca-cola (200 ml) and they charge you 10/- instead of the advertized 8/-, do you ask them why they are charging you 50/- for 5 coca-cola which you bought for your family while they should have charged you 40/- (total 10/- less within the whole amount and THIS 10/- is 1/- more than 9/- you see)
When you buy anything for your house (obviously from any shop in any city), they all are somehow passing the newly added "taxes" and other levies to their clients which is YOU.
These are the simplest and most general things which we ignore in our lives for our daily transactions which we do quite many a times in a day and unintentionally & continuously pay those extra charges to shop-keepers which they willingly passed to you, but we don't ask them to reduce that amount from their bills, but here, with ZERODHA, many of us are asking to reduce the 9/- cost which we pay once or twice in a month, its ............ just ridiculous
Just for information ......... Passing these extra charges to their clients is the LAST OPTION for a businessman (I am NOT a businessman). It cannot be stopped and will never stop. NO BUSINESSMAN WILL WANT TO PAY EXTRA AMOUNT (TAXES ETC) TO THE GOVERNMENT FROM HIS OWN POCKET, so he will HAVE TO pass-on the charges to his clients/customers.
ASK YOURSELF, DO YOU STOP BUYING YOUR DAILY-NEEDS-GOODS FROM A SHOP IF HE PASSES THESE CHARGES UPON YOU, DO YOU SAY THEM THAT YOU ARE NOT WILLING TO PAY THESE EXTRA CHARGES, EVEN IF YOU SAY BUT DID THE SHOP-KEEPER ACCEPT YOUR APPEAL AND REDUCED THOSE CHARGES, IF HE DID NOT AGREE TO REDUCE THEN WOULD YOU CONSIDER CHANGING YOUR SHOP FOR DAILY-NEEDS-GOODS, WHAT IF YOUR NEW SHOP "ALSO" DOES THE SAME IN A "HIDDEN MANNER".
Think again & again & again ........... there is NO SOLUTION to it ............ so why you are worried about that mere 9/-
Finally, you HAVE the OPTION to open a bank account in a compatible bank like HDFC and then you will not have to pay the extra 9/-
Hope I did not hurt anybody while saying that bitter truth of our lives .......
By the way Trader5, I do admit that "no broker charges for fund transfer at least"
but the banks do.
