So for eg, if nifty is at 5200 and 5500 calls are at Rs 2 the morning of expiry and you think nifty won't move 300 points during the day, you can write the option at intraday margin of Rs 5000.. 99.9%, you would end up pocketing the Rs 2 premium( Rs 100)... Rs 100 for Rs 5000 investment(2%) for a day, hmmm not bad is it?? with such a less risk!!! ...

When was the last time this absurd thing has happened!!!

But my concern is NOT in knowing the "limits" of NOW or NEST actually but to know whether we are able to "increase the limit" AND add "more scrips" than these terminals allow ...........

I have been associated with u guys for over 6 months now and quite happy with your honesty, so would expect an honest reply, irrespective of the whatever the case may be.

Any pro trading happens on a different account which is pro, funds can't be mixed between pro and clients... So no, we don't or should I say can't trade on the funds kept by you...

How do you guys handle daily m2m of option credit spreads? Eg. bull spread. Since the the position is covered (hedged), will I need to keep extra cash for M2M??

You get a margin benefit with the credit spreads.. But m2m has to be brought in whatever is made over and above the margin blocked...

Can you please tell us the max numbers of scrips which can be loaded into NOW or NEST.

Sharekhan TradeTiger allows to load all the Futures Contracts + a few more (don't know the exact numbers it allows to load), while in Now or NEST (both), there are limits. Cannot we add scrips into these terminals just as Sharekhan TradeTiger does ?

Trading time: 10 to 11.55 for international commodities and upto 5 for all agri comm...

Lot size and margins are available on the SPAN margin file available on our backoffice...

When was the last time this absurd thing has happened!!!

My bad for the typo's, but usually option strikes 100 to 150 points above the present market price on an expiry morning trades between Rs 1 to 2.

You can backtest how many times nifty has moved so much on expiry.. Hardly any.. A profitable strategy...
