Is it 20 per marketwatch, or is it 20 total ?? Suppose I have 3 marketwatches defined, what is the total number of scrips I can have ?? 20 or 60 ?

20 scrips per MarketWatch.

I am concerned of this coz, in near future Zerodha will move other segments such as NFO, NSE/BSE cash, & CDS to Zerodha Trader. After the implement of NSE in Zerodha Trader, 20 scrips per MW is not enough.

In commodities it is not a problem, because there are not too many scrips in commodities. So, I think Zerodha needs to increase this scrip limit per MW.

Hope Zerodha will consider our request.

For writing options of current month ATM, Margin requirement will be similar to futures and 100% amount will be needed in my account.

Now, I intend to trade covered options.In such cases , will i be required to have full margin ?
And if there are margin relaxations, is your system intelligent to identify covered options margin relaxations realtime ?

@zerodha, if I have Rs. 1 lk in my account and i short 50 shares of TataSteel, will I be able to carry my shorts till 3.25pm or you will still sq off at 3.10pm?

I think they will be squared off because shorts in equities will be under "MIS" option.

Typically, how "Trader" is performing on commodities trade. Is it worth?

What it means is you can only update 20 scrips in your excel through their link-to-excel function. NSE NOW has a limit of 55 scrips, which is just about enough as you can get all the scrips of Nifty and plus 5 more.

We will be adding a 60 day challenge menu in the next few days, which will show you which day of the challenge you are in and your exact profitability as on that day after all charges...

We are also planning to include delivery trades for the challenge... We will put up the new menu in the next 10 days...

Next Zerodha challenge will start from around 10th of May ...if this facility of knowing the day we are in and the net profit , it will help us in the second challenge .

@ Zerodha ...can you get this facility up by around 10 th May ? Try for it....

BTW when is the last day of current Zerodha challenge ? Do we have to put some requisition for claiming the brokerage refund or it will be credited automatically without any further action from us ? It gives a tremendous high to get some money back from the broker as normally it is one way traffic....from us to the broker....

I am sure many new accounts will get opened/ activated in the second Zerodha challenge if people know the outcome of the first challenge....
