Next Zerodha challenge will start from around 10th of May ...if this facility of knowing the day we are in and the net profit , it will help us in the second challenge .

@ Zerodha ...can you get this facility up by around 10 th May ? Try for it....

BTW when is the last day of current Zerodha challenge ? Do we have to put some requisition for claiming the brokerage refund or it will be credited automatically without any further action from us ? It gives a tremendous high to get some money back from the broker as normally it is one way traffic....from us to the broker....:D

I am sure many new accounts will get opened/ activated in the second Zerodha challenge if people know the outcome of the first challenge....

Dear ST,

If you have taken the challenge from 15th Feb, it will end on 14th May after
a period of 60 trading days.

If you started after 15th Feb (some of us might not have traded exactly from
that date.. I started it on 7th March..), then it will be 60 trading days from
the first day of trading after 15th Feb.

I remember that Zerodha is going to place a link on their back-office page, for
claiming the refund!

So, you are getting ready for the second round of the challenge.. cheers!!

We had NSE special sessions on 03-Mar and 28-April. 20-Feb is a NSE Holiday i guess. If those 2 special sessions are included then 60th Day is 11-May.

I hope this challenge will continue for some more days..

The one who could not make it in the first round should realize and ask himself:
"Why not me..?"

The discipline in a trader should spread like a healthy decease and then, I look
forward to the day - when Zerodha finally says: "What the hell? We can't run
this challenge any longer.. every customer of ours is in profit nowadays.."

Oye.. ST, have they announced the continuation of the 60 day challenge ?? Didn't see any such announcement.
Yes TP in the earlier posts Zerodha had mentioned that they want to run this challenge on a continuous basis...and it makes great business sense. Their number of trading accounts must have registered a steep increase because of this challenge......and they will return small amount back as brokerage to say max 20-25 % profitable traders but will generate big revenue by increased trading activity and brokerage and visibility.....they will never close this challenge after having tasted blood in the first challenge....Zerodha guys are smart businessmen....they understand these things much more than us....

Zerodha is also getting some changes in software which will enable traders to know which day in the challenge period they are and what is their net profit/loss figure......this obviously is done for the challenge to be continued further .

So I am very sure that this challenge is going to be continued for many months.....my level of confidence on this is much more than I have on any of my market views....:D Let us see whether this analysis is right or wrong....we will know soon...:)

There may be an OTOH scenario too - the dropouts, those who didn't make it may not have enough motivation to carry on with similar vigour. Reduced volumes from the 75-80% may not be compensated by the increased volumes from the winning 20-25%.

Just loud thinking.. no offense meant.

Edit : They said they want to run it on a continuous basis. So, does that mean that the challenge will continue ??
