Hi Zrodha,

Your payout request process service is really pathetic. specially when the client account is not with HDFC. Funds get credited to the client account by next day 4-5 pm. this is defiantly poor service that your giving to the clients. you are behind it in this space. and it has happened to me multiple times

would be worth thinking to improve this space.

we have been listening that you would start account with ICICI. Not sure when that would be action'ed.

Never had a payout with Zerodha, but next day 4-5pm sounds ok. I think it is not bad compared with the industry average (though I don't know what is the industry average, with Sharekhan it used to take about the same time).

Yes, it should be more like I request you today at 5 pm, and zerodha algorithim should have guessed that I would have requested a payout based on my trading patterns, and would have done the payout by 2 pm itself, even before my request.

And would have even booked flight tickets, and hotel package for me, even before I thought about taking a vacation with the money withdrawn.

Yes zerodha, you are lacking in this department.
Better buck up, or other brokers will be booking dinner tables at our fav resorts, and you will be left behind.

I never had this issue with angel. as n when process the request and funds gets credited in my account with in 30 minutes . As they do it ICICI to ICICI. here Zerodha is doing NEFT and usally this takes 4 hours and since they process all requests after 7 pm .it will get processed next day . I dont know but until 5pm is definitely not acceptable

Thanks Zerodha . That is OK . It was very much helpful.

It would be wonderful If you could tell me where you found NSDL charge .. I just don't find the charge reference for NSDL.

Also , Could you please tell at what time shares are credited into demat account ? Is it on T+2 day evening i.e after 6 PM ? I would like to know the approximate time.
https://nsdl.co.in/about/charges.php

Check out the settlement fees, 4.5 + others which comes to Rs 5...

On T+2, it comes in between 2pm to 4pm to your demat...

Is it correct ?
I was their client and at that time I have to give instructions before 12 p.m and
it will be credited within four hours ( icici to icici) .
Nowadays just half an hour ? before what time instruction to be sent ?

Hi KP,

We are allowed to have only one client account with the exchange.. HDFC is the leader in capital market space, most of the brokers have their NSE client account with HDFC..

When you put a withdrawal request, money is debited from the NSE client account which in our case is with HDFC.. Angel I guess has their client account with ICICI...

If money has to be transferred from our HDFC client account to your icici bank account, the only way to do it is through NEFT.. We process all our requests every evening, unfortunately our banking systems kind of suck and hence sometimes might take time till next evening.. But all our clients who have HDFC will vouch that the money is always in the same day.. sometimes in less than 30 mins from request being put.. If requests are bigger than 2lks we can do RTGS, which hits within 11am the next day.. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about this, just a hope that our banking system becomes more efficient...
